Very lovely building. Male bar staff on charge are a bit miserable but the food was delicious and reasonably priced. Beef rib just yummy.Food: 5/5
Friendly staff and beautiful cosy building, however the food let it down. The Mediteranean linguine had a greasy tasteless small amount of sauce that meant I was basically eating slimy pasta. Also my sons children's menu pizza was a tiny basic cheap frozen type pizza. The portion sizes were ok and ordering via the app was easy. Waiting time was about 10/15 minutes for food on a pretty quiet weekday mid afternoon. I would possibly return in the future if they put more effort into the vegetarian and children's menu. Vegetarian options: Although limited, there are vegetarian options Kid-friendliness: Children's menu available Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible toilet on ground floor. Dan, Jenny, the bar staff and the kitchen staff have been absolutely amazing. We’ve had such a warm and friendly experience in the Fairfield this evening. We ordered food and a few bottles of fizz on an afternoon after an exceptionally long week. The team in the bar have really helped us relax and enjoy our evening. Would highly recommend, food and staff are fantastic…the only thing missing is a bit of music
Husband took me out for a drive as I'm recovering from major surgery and we nipped in for a cheeky dinner. Staff are lovely and were very polite and attentive. The new menu was easy to choose food from. Food came quickly, was delicious and not expensive. Hubby had the 3 courses for £11 something. Great place to eat.
Nice place to Dine or just have a drink, you could even sit outside in the beer garden either the front or at the back of the pub. it's a very relaxing atmosphere and the landlord and bar staff are very welcoming. Steak night on a Thursday and a curry night every Friday. The food is really nice and they have lots of choices on their menu. You should try there hot and spicy chicken burger with fries and gravy.
I managed to beat my anxiety and I stopped by for a rainy day hot chocolate. The extra smarties were a happy treat! As we're the ladies serving. Great place to catch up with friends or for a business meeting. The building itself is beautiful with some stunning original features.Service: 5/5

Been here around 5 times now and food has always been brilliant, service has been a little slow if they are busy but nothing to complain about and expectedFood: 5/5
Came here in a weekday afternoon for a catching up. We ordered some coffee and a soup. The coffees came with brownies, while my soup came with 2 slices of bread. The waiter is nice and the environment is cozy.Food: 5/5
We sat in the conservatory area which was cold and had the fire door open. The manger came over and said all the radiators are on how can you be cold So I said this one is not on, she checked it and it was cold. The other male manager seemed to be very passive aggressive and customer service was shocking. We ordered the posh fish and chips and the batter was soggy, the barman was brilliant and nothing was to much trouble, he said swap it for a new meal if we wanted, we asked for a refund, which he was fine with, the manger can back and asked again if we wanted another meal, felt like they didn't want to refund us. Probably avoid this pub in the future
