Interested and vibrant busy little place. Indoor and outdoor seating where you can watch the incoming and outgoing aircraft. Dog friendly and parking right outside. Limited menu and very noisy but made up by the lovely lady who served us and treated our dog xx
Sunday lunch is Sunday lunch there aren't any other choices but they do it well. I wish more aviation restaurants did this, do something simple and keep to it. Lovely welcome from James as we walked through the door, he found us a table even though it was packed and even noticed when we were waiting to pay and came over. Good straight nice service made the meal thank you
Been coming here on and off for years with the old man. Place is great for a pint and a lunch while watching planes coming and going. Staff are friendly Food and drink are fairly priced in my opinion. Dont have a bad thing to say about the place
This is a great place to come to have a nice drink, something to eat and watch the planes come and go. I've been here quite a few times and inside is very busy in the winter and bad weather. For summer and when the weather is fine there is a large seating area outside with lots of benches which means you can get even closer to the planes. This a great place to bring the kids and the plane spotting is amazing!!!!
Great spot for watching light aircraft and helicopters all accompanied by a coffee or a pint if you're not driving. Can sit inside or out on the benches in fine weather and plenty of parking also. A short drive around the perimeter of the airfield will take you to the Jet Age museum, small but well worth a look.
A lovely place to visit. Good value for food/drinks and quick, friendly service. A great view of the runway and planes. Plenty of parking even on a busy day. Lots of seating both in and outside.
Lovely and friendly - 10/10 customer service! Atmosphere inside was chilled and relaxing but very warm, temperature-wise. All the waiters including the bar staff were complying with high Covid-19 regulations and hygiene standards! Generally, the food was delicious, but I was not too keen on the vegetables in the bowl. I was offered a high chair which was extremely helpful as I was there with my baby, but it could have done with a quick clean beforehand… There is parking right outside which is very convenient and seating options available both indoors and out! If sitting inside, there’s music and a TV as well as lots of decor on the walls and aircraft figures hanging down from the ceiling which are very cool!! It was a nice touch when my waiter came and asked me how I was finding everything and if I needed anything else. As the pub is facing the airfields, you can watch the aircrafts and helicopters which is a bonus!! Would definitely visit again and recommend. Thank you for your custom and hospitality!
Good spot to watch the airport activity. We had lunch which was all delicious, I had a chicken & bacon salad which was delicious! Others had sausages, chicken & squid which were all lovely. Would definitely visit again.
Great ale selection. Good food selection, basic fayre but always in huge portions and great value. Wonderful place for spotters with great views across the runway and airfield
The food here is extremely good, have have had multiple breakfasts and lunches all of which were extremely well cooked. The drinks are well priced. There is also plenty of seating both inside and out.
