Enjoyed the chicken sesame strips as a starter, burger as a main and finished it off with the smores Sundae, usually the Sundae is always missing something whether that be the marshmallow or the chocolate flakes but this time everything was perfect! Service was very fast and friendly as we arrived on a Wednesday Parking: Quiet on the weekdays, gets very busy and fills up on a weekend
Great service and good food. Cocktails were nice and not watery plus atmosphere was good, along with friendly staff. Will definitely come back as it was good value too.
Ran out of ribs. It's like Nando's running out of chicken or the Crab House having no crab. The substitute burger was among the smallest I have had in a long time. Don't tend to go to TGIs but we had great memories of TGI Fridays when in the US. This was very disappointing. Our son thought the same thing about his burger, not the most tasty and small. The vegan taco was requested without any spicy sauce but came hot anyway. Finally, when we got the bill the restaurant incorrectly charged us for the ribs that had run out! Vegetarian options: Limited but given it is a meat restaurant, to be expected
Ordered a takeaway this evening and wow how disappointing could it get, for £31.00 for two mains the portion size looked like it belonged on the kids menu, the chips were reheated and like cardboard and the overall meal was cold. Honestly if your debating a TGI's anytime soon I'd strongly think again! AVOID AVOID AVOID! PS.. Added a photo as evidence!!
Service was good and staff were great but food took over an hour to arrive on a Saturday night, but it was busy. Drinks were brilliant, milkshakes especially. Vegetarian options for mains were limited and just bought in rather than customised much. Vegetarian options: Not brilliant, a little bland Parking: Plenty of spaces, shared with hotel Dietary restrictions: Some options for vegetarian and vegan, not customised or original though.
19.12.12 Went there for birthday as never had a bad experience. Wouldn’t go back after this time! The service was ok-ish on the slow side considering it wasn’t busy the waitress seemed nervous as it was, didn’t feel it was fair to complain to her. Food on the other hand what a disappointment. The main I had ordered the glazed burger as per the images this was still pink literally cold pink in the middle!! On top of that it was served on what looks as if it was a side plate. My partner ordered the loaded warrior fries & was presented with a plate of fries with a bit of hot sauce chucked on top as per the images I am embarrassed that I had suggested to go there for his birthday. Considering the prices of TGI’s this is certainly not reflected in there food!! I will ensure to take this further!
Fantastic service, however, the large stacked beef burger was 1/2 over cooked and the £17 burger was discounted to approx £14 ....
Almost missed my train for this. My mum is gluten free and there was an unusually reduced menu on what she could eat. We were there over an hour and a half before we saw any food which came and was cold and was unfortunately also only half our order. The rest was brought to us in a take away bag as we had to leave. However, our server Toby was fantastic. He deserves a raise!! Lovely guy, very understanding and really tried to make sure I ate something before my train! I was very hungry with a long journey ahead of me. His manager was also really nice but sad about the food. Won’t be rushing back anytime soon but I hope Toby is doing well :
Very good food, especially the kids food. But the service is so slow. For 7 of us, we were in there for 2.75 hours for a 3 course meal. We didn't have our drinks order taken until 30mins after arriving, and our starters weren't out until an hour after arriving. But, the food is really good and the atmosphere is good. A free cake for the birthday kid was a nice touch too
Have to say this is a lovely place never had an issue here, The minute you walk in such a lovely welcome, Food is amazing, Drinks lovely especially the cocktails, Atmosphere is lovely and staff are very friendly, Recommend definitely, So much better than gloucester quays TGI.. So since last went here and put a lovely review it has lost being good, We went on 4/5/22 got there about 9pm asked if ok to still eat place wasn't busy at all, Asked if chicken burger with lettuce and mayo was possible and was told yes by the young lad who saw us first, We went and sat down and the waitress came and took our drinks order well my June bug cocktail was fine but my partners tequila sunrise looked like a slush puppy.. The waitress then took our food order so we both chose chicken burgers with lettuce and mayo the girl said just lettuce and mayo yes we said literally just chicken burgers with lettuce and mayo, We ordered another June bug cocktail for me and what came out was awful I think they just used the last of the jiffy lemon and that was it the place was quiet and the food eventually came out and that was terrible not only got given tomato, bacon, onions, guacamole and a avacado the bun was hard. The manager came down to see us had a chat and said would pass on to his general manager he did do a deduction on bill but its not the point you should be able to enjoy a meal.. Since this other people I've spoken to have said they received poor service in there so not good enough and needs bringing back up to being better, Disappointed.. Went back 07/04/2023 and have to say from minute walked in was brilliant first the service and Dan was good, friendly and helpful and full fun.. TGIs have added new things to their menu and now have Chicken Burger back on which was really nice and tasty, My partner had the Messy Burger and also said was nice and tasty. Brilliant food and drinks and brilliant service..
