The Rabbie Burns bar were handing out leaflets as we disembarked from The Waverley in Dunoon.nThis is a short walk from the dock, had live music 1230-4pm in the outdoor seating area and was busy with guests dining.nWe only stopped for 1 drink, but service was quick despite a busy bar. Lovely start to our day out.
The hotel was spotless, and the staff couldn't be more helpful and friendly. We were booked in for 2 nights DBB . The food was amazing with the choice of two restaurants. We were in a family room and had a lot of space with a good-sized bathroom. Will definitely be back.
The staff seems very nice, the food is good.nThe beds are a little uncomfortable but the rooms are lovely and clean.nThe roller blind in the room was faulty
Stepping inside is like stepping back in time, but not in a bad way. The victorian era can still be seen, but also very clean, well lit, and fairly fresh decor.nWe were only in for lunch, and the view was spectacular. However, whilst serving time was fairly prompt, a smile would help from the staff. The food was okay, it wasn’t bad food, but pricy for what it was.nThe evening meal menu did look extensive, and well priced though, so we will definitely be giving that a go, and report back.
Great stop for lunch , Lentil soup was fab just wished another half label would be great ,toasties great too
