I really liked the hotel but my room was cold it was cold outside but as we had booked you could have warmed up the room. The staff were great. And the breakfast was fantastic so no complaints with the food it's also in a great location if your visiting the area.the whole experience was positive. Just heat the rooms please but thanks for everything.
We stayed here for a short break and can't fault anything about our stay.nThe staff are all lovely, very friendly, welcoming, professional make you feel at home and make you feel like a local.nThey are happy working together and work so well as a team. You can always tell how well a place is run by watching how the staff interact with each other.nThe food was gorgeous, really tasty, reasonably priced and a good variety.nOur suite was lovely. It was well equipped with everything you needed even a fan which was very useful. The bed was very comfortable.nThe bar was great and the variety of drinks great. Our favourite being their very own brewed ciders made from their own orchard apples. Warning it's a lot stronger than it tastes.nWish they had big bottles to buy would make lovely souvenirs.nThank you for a wonderful stay
Party of four attended Sunday dinner this afternoon.nnService was abhorrent!nnOne hour in and only had a starter!nnForgotten kids dinner and we’d almost finished our own by the time it arrived. Incorrect order put through till on one of the lunches.nnTable full of empty plates and had to ask repeatedly throughout the three courses for them to be cleared. Empty glasses not removed from table. Had to ask for menus, had to ask if we could even order!nnVery rarely ever complain but today I am absolutely fuming. £130 and not even a thank you from staff as we left.nnPoor poor poor wouldn’t recommend to anyone after today’s fiasco!
Really enjoyed our meal this evening, great flavours, outstanding pie & the best batter we’ve seen for a long time! Spot on friendly service.. thanks guys
Food was very nice . Had to ask 3 times for sauce. Certain staff didn't know whether they were serving Sunday lunch menu.
