I've enjoyed coming here for years. From meeting up with friends to having a date night. The staff are always friendly and ready to serve you. The food has always been great. Parking available outside. Outdoor seating area for smoking. Looks pretty with the lights outside. Generally a clean and warm welcoming place.Food: 5/5
As a teetotaller, I don't usually frequent pubs, but Amber Tavern is an exception. Whenever there's a football game featuring our favorite club or the England team I join my mates there and we always have a great time.The atmosphere is electric, making it the perfect spot to watch a match.I just stick to soft drinks but even without alcohol I can appreciate the lively energy and camaraderie that Amber Tavern offers during game nights. It's become our go-to spot for football and it never disappoints.
Pleasantly surprised by the The Amber Tavern. Friendly staff who had smiles on their faces, the food was solid for the price and it came hot hot while also coming out quite quickly as well. I have had issues with steaks at other pubs but the rump here was cooked perfectly and wasn't full of fat like other places. It paired perfectly with the steak sauce I had chosen. Will be back for more for sure.
Visited The Amber Tavern this afternoon just for a quick afternoon drink. The outside is well kept, plenty of car parking, looking fresh and welcoming. Drinks - Served cold and refreshing from the bar. The offer for the drink in the app scanned no problem at all. Staff - The guy who served me was happy and friendly. Didn't have to wait very long to be served. Atmosphere - It is fairly busy for 2pm, but plenty of tables well spaced out so no problem finding somewhere to sit. The O2 WiFi is working fine and no problems working from laptop on it. Only comment is the background music is particularly quiet, didn't really notice it unless listened really hard. Could be up a touch - not to be loud but just to add to ambience as could mask the road noise, grass cutting outside and other peoples conversations. Food - Didn't eat here, but the menu has a lot on it. Looks a more premium from other Sizzling have visited. Plenty to try for next time. Overall, well worth the visit!
It's been years since I'd been in this pub Bass House. We went and had lunch there and was pleasantly surprised at the good and varied menu. The food was excellent and the staff were very helpful. We will definitely be returning. Another great night celebrating my mother's birthday. The food was amazing,10 of us and we all enjoyed our meals. Excellent service from the waitresses too.
Great Saturday night. Fast service and great sizzling steak. Entertainment to with Amy Winehouse singer. I have breakfast here too. Very relaxing. Kid-friendliness: Kids very welcome Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp access
I came here for a family meal, there was 20 of us. I wasn't particularly looking forward to it, because I perceive the pub as a cheapo place. I was pleasantly surprised by the meal. All of my family enjoyed there meals as well. Considering there were 20 of us the wait for food was quite short. The level of service was good, with the staff being friendly and bringing our drinks to the table. The food price's are low compared with other places. So overall the Amber Tavern offers good value for money.
Another lovely lunch at The Amber Tavern. This time, we went for Sizzling Grilled Chicken on a bed of vegetables, and Sizzling Chicken Fajitas Enjoyed every single piece, very, very nice .Food: 5/5
Went to the Amber today Wednesday me and the wife we had not been there for a few weeks as the food was lukewarm. So we decided to see what it was like now. Ordered steak and a mixed grill. The wife's steak was supposed to be medium it was rare and lukewarm warm as the plates were cold so this doesn't help. My mixed grill was all lukewarm only the chips were quite warm, plate cold, left most of it. Won't be going back. Most say the staff are lovely friendly and helpful. Last part the dog loved the left overs so take your dog there.
Haven't been here in ages but was great, service great, friendly staff, there were 5 of us and no complaints about our food, I had a halloumi wrap it was lovely. Only niggle was the coffee machine wasnt working but hey ho !!Food: 5/5
