This review revolves around Allan Water Cafe, but really is about the beautiful village Bridge of Allan, Stirling, Scotland, UK.nThe cafe is a nice cosy place where we had excellent English Scones and tea.nThe service was good and quick. In summer people flock here to taste their large variety of ice creams.nBut the main attraction is really the village. It is very classy. It has some of the best charity shops which sell antiques, ho.e made soaps and creams, and curious. There is a public toilet and plenty of flower baskets.nThere is a picnicing area by the side of Allan Waters a stream.nIt is a very pretty town with some good bakeries.nMust visit when in Stirling. About 4 miles from the city center.
Been going here for years with the family. Always go for fish and chips and ice cream afterwards.nnThey make their own ice cream and have many flavours to choose from.nnThe fish is fantastic, never had a bad meal.nnValue for money, always a large fish and the chips are tasty.
Service, Food quantity+quality, Location, Ambience, All 5 stars! Value for Money….nnhaddock, scampi, chips, nmushy peas… slurp-slurp! Went twice..
Visiting from Canada and heard great things from friends who live in the area. Ordered a large fish and it was absolutely massive. Fresh and delicious with great crisp batter.
It's probably the best fish and chips I've ever had in all honesty.nnLovely cafe to sit down in, and the service was very quick.nnThe chips were fluffy and perfectly cooked. The fish was massive, and the batter tasted amazing.nnThen, the ice cream sundae to follow was nice to top it off.nnStaff very friendly.
