The Wimbledon guided tour is an absolute must for any tennis enthusiast or history lover. Walking through the iconic grounds, you are immediately struck by the beauty and grandeur of the place. We had the chance to see both the legendary Center Court and Court No. 4, each holding its own unique charm. The tour is incredibly well-organized, with knowledgeable guides who bring Wimbledon’s rich history to life. As you walk around, you can almost feel the echoes of past champions and the timeless traditions that have made Wimbledon the most prestigious tournament in tennis. The atmosphere is truly special, blending the elegance of the sport with the weight of its storied past. Whether you're a fan of tennis or simply appreciate history and culture, the Wimbledon guided tour offers an unforgettable experience. It's a chance to immerse yourself in the heritage of one of the most beautiful and historic sporting venues in the world.
I have always wanted to visit Wimbledon and this was a great time to tour the facility after the tournament. The crowds were small and made the tour very enjoyable. I do recommend buying tickets in advance. Total time was just over an hour. You get your inside of three of the main show courts and a portion of the grounds if there are no small tournaments.
Fabulous 90 minute tour of the grounds including Centre Court & No.1 Court. Our guide was engaging, informative & very knowledgeable about tennis & its history. We loved it! And with just 2 weeks until the tournament begins, the grass & grounds were both in perfect condition.
What can you say. Wonderful. Every single member if staff was incredible. So helpful and genuinely lovely. Access was excellent. We got taken through the hallowed corridors around centre court. An extra thrill. The accessible seating is excellent and the facilities impeccable. We did Park and Ride which is good - takes longer than you think so allow extra time. Only £15 which is pretty good for the day and it's very well organised.
Always a pleasure and a highlight of my year to attend the championships. I am lucky to have been many times and it never gets tired. Always beautiful, always exciting. In fact it's like Doctor Who's tardis... small, intimate, local and yet walk through the gates and THE biggest tournament in the world spreads out before you. Always amazing!
What a wonderful experience visiting this establishment! Lots of staff herding the crowds. Would have loved to take a peek at Centre Court but was not allowed! Huge queues for food and drinks which were priced unsurprisingly high! You are at the world famous tennis courts after all.
Sue and I were lucky to be allocated men's singles final tickets in the ballot. We had a amazing day exploring the grounds, watching incredible tennis and sampling the various food and drinks areas. Prices were not cheap but I did not expect it to be, everything was a very high standard. Loved the whole experience
Centre Court more or less parallel with the service line. It was brilliant The tennis, the people watching, the noise. Wimbledon can be a wallet drawing experience but we were quite restrained more or less until the end. Hoping we get lucky in the ballot again. Loved it.
It's an amazing place. Shame about food options and queue systems. Waited over 4 hours to get in and 2 hours inside for resale tickets. It is better to get tickets beforehand and enjoy day hassle free.
Wimbledon tennis is a wonderful occasion, even when the sun doesn't quite play ball. The closeness of the tennis on the outside courts is awesome, the buzz around the grounds, good food and the hill. Great visit.
