Story

The Alabaster Jar is an independently run paint-your-own-pottery shop in Chorley, Lancashire.

We provide a relaxing and friendly atmosphere where you can come and spend some quality time making bespoke pottery products for your home or loved ones.

Finished items will be ready to collect one week from the date you paint them, so if it's for a special occasion, be sure to leave yourself enough time.

Run by really lovely people. Very nice atmosphere and thoroughly enjoyable and therapeutic. A cracking way to entertain children and big kids alike.
This little painting pottery place was well equipped, very welcoming and professional. My granddaughters loved painting their items. Thank you for making an enjoyable experience for them.
We had a lovely relaxing evening painting, drinking prosecco we took our own lots of lovely items to choose from to paint, staff all very friendly and helpful, will definitely go again
Excellent customer service, friendly and helpful staff. Chose our pots and were given instructions and left to it. Help was available if we needed it. Collected our pots and they look better than we could have imagined. Loved it!
I've been here many times since it opened. Jenny and the staff are most helpful. We always have a good time painting the pottery. I recommend this for something different to do and come away with a completed item, that has your own touch to it.
