Fish was beautiful, but everything else was so disappointing. After seeing that previous reviews remarked on such large portions too much for one person we were really disappointed by the portion sizes of everything else given such a high price point. £2.70 for large chips We could have gotten so much more at a Chinese and still had leftovers for what we paid. I hope this gets sorted out!
Great fish and chips always freshly cooked, sit on or eat out. We sit in and the staff and owner are very polite and friendly. If you want good food then call here because that's exactly what you will get!
Well done to the chip shop. They have organised a one way system due to covid 19 which is very efficient. Pay for your order at the start and pick up at the counter and keeping the 2 metre distance. Well done to the staff . Main points great fish and chips. Will be visiting again.
The best gluten free food! As a Coeliac I really struggle to find nice gluten free take away food, but we come back to this Chippy quite regularly because of how great their food is! The service is great too and always very friendly!
Didn't manage to try the food, as there are no baby changing facilities, so had to leave to sort the baby. The staff seemed nice and welcoming up until the point we were leaving, at which point we received dirty looks. The place is not very clean, would not recommend
Me and my friends went in there about 2 weeks ago. We collectively spent 10-15 pounds. First of they made us prepay when no one else in the "restaurant" had to and they were constantly hovering over us. We got yelled at for talking and the staff there are extremely rude. The chips were stail and tasted like that were reheated in a microwave rubbery ass chips if your under 40 don't go they will Be rude and disrespectful to you, even if you do pay.
Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere especially if you want a delivery. There was over an hour delay and once the food left the shop it took 15 mins for a 4 min run tops. Delivery driver strolled up the street as if she was on holiday and food arrived stone cold and inedible. We used to be a regular customer but it seems to have really gone downhill.
Small but great cafe with additional food on the menu apart from the traditional fish and chips. No alcohol, but large mugs of coffee or tea. Won't empty the pocket as very reasonable.
Called in to enjoy a quality service and quality food, loved the food, a proper chippy. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Would recommend going out of your way to eat here 5 stars
We have Just had tea at home the pie was very good a bit more season ing in it the fish was beautiful all in all to many chips but was good .And the cake was excellent thanks
