I recently visited Anupam for a birthday meal with my wife. We chose Anupam because friends had recommended it to us and the reviews were good. However, I left disappointed as the service was slow (despite the fact it was not that busy), they were unable to accommodate a slight deviation to the menu and I thought the portions were small and expensive. I ordered Tandoori Chicken for my starter it was very bland and came on its own with no onions or salad. The main course of Chicken Jalfrazi was better and at least had some spicy flavours, but there was not much of it to the point that I had half a Nan bread left! So my search for a more local Indian Restaurant that rivals Jimmy Pickles goes on.

Superb food and service. Can’t fault it and would highly recommend. Loved the special grapefruit gin cocktail! Can’t wait to return.

One of the best Indian meals I've ever eaten outside of India. Flavours all distinct and clear, beautifully presented. Excellent service and very quick (which we asked for because we were going to a concert). Brilliant.
