We had phoned in the evening(7pm) for a room the same night due to a unexpected long journey trip to the animal hospital with our dog and they were very understanding with us not being able to provide a time of arrival. Once we got there the room was amazing and very clean it was great overall. They were lovely and can't thank them enough. The Wallaces

I personally have never had a more accommodating experience in any hotel or B&B. The Aaron Glen is a warm and welcoming experience to anyone. The husband and wife owners are absolutely wonderful, helpful and generous. The rooms were immaculate, very clean and the bed was nice and soft. The breakfast was amazing with 5 different ways to have your eggs and it was all very filling. If anybody were to visit Edinburgh, stay here. The 40 min bus ride was well worth it and I wouldn't dare stay anywhere else. If I could rate it 10 stars out of 5 I would, highly recommend to anyone

Such an amazing local B&B... the owners are really welcoming and friendly. The room i stayed in was room 5 and as you can see from the photos it is very modern and luxurious. The bed was soooo comfy with great linen on the bed. The ensuite is modern with very modern facilities, including a heated mirror to stop it misting up when you have a shower.
I stayed here for 2 nights and can say it is amazing and in a great location, especially if you are visiting a business on the local business estate.
Breakfast is awesome, i had the Full Scottish, similar to the Full English with added Haggis. Which was freshly cooked to order and absolutely devine. Second day i had a cpuple of poached eggs on toast and i can honestly say they were cooked to perfection.
There is an honesty bar for guests which stocks at least 30 different whiskeys and they are all very very resonably priced.
Plenty of parking outside and easy to get to from edinburgh airport... took me 25 minutes by cab. If you in the area looking for somewhere to stay, forget the big chain hotels and try this amazing B&B.

A cute B&B in the south of Edinburgh. Service is excellent, with attentive and helpful hosts: we arrived late at night and host called around to find an open spot for dinner and gave great directions. Rooms are small but comfortable. Location is fantastic: downtown Edinburgh is a 25 minute bus ride with no transfer required, making it easy for even those new to the city to navigate. Breakfasts are large, filling, and delicious. My spouse and I would definitely stay here again.
