Decent food in terms of taste but portions are small. The decor is fine but the staff and service is good. They take the last dine in order till 11 PM while take away till 11:30 PM.
I can’t understand why their review is low The best indian restaurant I’ve ever been. Everything which we ordered food was delicious! I had a fried fish and lam curry. The fish and lam were soft! I wish this restaurant located in the netherlands Thank you guys!
Nice little restaurant with friendly staff and a good choice of speciality dishes. The dal makhani is lovely and creamy, the naan fluffy and fresh. And much cheaper than the eateries on the riverfront! Main/side/rice/naan/ shared pud plus bottle of house wine came in at £28 each
Have lived in Waterloo for five years and this is far and away the best curry house in the area. Food consistently tasty and, equally important, always very friendly and attentive service and quick to pour the beers. Completely disagree with the reviews saying waiters are rude - only explanation is people have got the wrong restaurant.
The quality and taste of food were perfect. I really enjoyed the food. I had garlic bread and Achani Gosth. Very fresh and well cookedRecommended dishesFlavoured Naan
It is a really good restaurant with good food at decent prices. Staff were pleasant and dedicated despite working on new year's day. Genuinely feel that the restaurant has improved from previous reviews Happy new year.Food: 5/5
Really nice food onion bhaji starter, Goan fish curry main, reasonably priced and good service - will definitely go again. There is something a little odd going on in the reviews here for this - most of the poor reviews seem to be from Indians the restaurant is Bangladeshi - not sure if this reflects on the restaurant or the reviewers.
Didn't really have a good experience here. The ambience is poor, tables very tiny, service took ages and finally the taste was below average. The Dal tadka Didn't have any Tadka at all, it was plain yellow Dal. You have to order the starters and main course together. Best avoided.
As a party of three, upon entering this evening we greeted the staff in a friendly manner with a smile and thus we were received in kind. Staff were polite and efficient. Foods were excellent: tasty, served hot and in a timely manner tandoori chicken, lamb haleem and butter chicken. Sides ordered were papadom, rice and naan, all fine. Serving sizes were perfect. Cuisine is south Asian, with an impressive diverse menu. The butter chicken was unique, with a special layer of delicious almond yogurt puree floating on top of the typical sauce. If you love butter chicken but due to food allergy you would prefer to skip that layer, you may ask for the yogurt piece to be omitted. The lamb haleem had the perfect level of spice, and the tandoori chicken was also just great. All this was accompanied well by a couple of Cobra beers. This little restaurant is highly recommended.
The choice of food and quality of food here is great. The service, however, wasn't great. Not warm and welcoming. Tables are too close together. But all in all a good mealFood: 5/5
