Had to go in there for an emergency. Seeing the reviews, I was a bit worried. But I was pleasantly surprised with the care I was given. Dr. Hope was kind and attentive and was willing to explain the issue in detail. The reception staff were equally helpful. The health centre is also quite large and very well maintained.
Nice building and everything looks great, but - I wasn’t given an indication of where my appointment was amongst the many colour coded reception desks, so I had no choice but to ask the security guy on ‘main reception’ who had no idea so pointed me vaguely towards another desk on the ground floor; the lady at that one told me to go to the green desk on the first floor and then the lady there told me firstly that ‘main reception’ isn’t reception - it’s a security desk, as if it was obvious I suggest taking the big sign down above it that reads ‘main reception’, before telling me that my appointment was at the purple desk.nIt doesn’t sound like much, but it made the whole experience much more stressful than it needed to be.nThey have too many signs everywhere, many of which tell us about their ‘zero tolerance to bad behaviour’, and the way all the staff spoke to me tells me that it’s the sort place where they see all the visitors to the building as the problem, rather than just their awful signage and indignant attitudes.nHow hard can it be, really?
I called for my elderly mum at 8.20am and 5.30 still no 1 called her. It’s not fit for purpose honestly disgusting how they treat the elderly. Also when I went to the surgery to collect a blood form and I felt like the receptionist just couldn’t be bothered. Not politeness no helpfulness just nothing. It’s appalling this place just appalling
Only giving 5* because of doctor Davis who is the lead Dr for sas. The receptionist team at Tessa itself weren’t really that welcoming. The building looked well kept and clean itself. Dr Davis is one of the best doctor I have seen. He shows empathy and really cares about his patients. Very professional and attentive, exceptional service! Dr Flebest is also very good. Thank you
Terrible treatment. I was met with sarcasm, condescending attitude, dismissive and was patronising towards me. This particular doctor had no empathy or was willing to address my concerns. Because I wasn’t carried in on a stretcher, I was basically fine. First time I’ve ever felt uncomfortable seeking medical advice. This will put me off ever wanting to attend emergency appointments again if I have to suffer the same experience as this. The doctor has a duty of care towards patients, instead I was treated like a child with hypochondria. Disgusting.
