Have been with this GP for over 5 years, and they used to be good and easy to make an appointment. This past year they have gone downhill, I have been trying to book an appointment for 2 months now and it's impossible to get through to them, I have literally tried almost every day. I'm now looking for another GP. If you're looking to sign up here, DON'T BOTHER!
Don't waste your time signing up to this GP. I've been registered with this practice for nearly a year and managed to get one appointment and that was through an emergency 111 call where they booked it for me. The staff are either rude or despondent. You can only get an appointment through an app at completely obscure time frames and there are never any free anyway. Absolutely pointless practice that may aswell be shut down.
2 hr free patient parking but don’t forget to enter the vehicle humber in the kiosk inside the building.
I am profoundly disappointed and upset with the care I received from this GP practice, including both the medical staff and management. Despite seeking help and expressing genuine concerns, I was met with dismissiveness and a complete lack of empathy from the receptionists, management, and medical staff.nnFor over two years, I was told by my GP that I didn't have ADHD, only to later undergo an assessment that confirmed otherwise. This misdiagnosis deprived me of the proper help and guidance I desperately needed. It's unacceptable that my concerns were ignored and gaslit for such an extended period, leading to unnecessary suffering and confusion.nnAdditionally, when I was struggling with what I thought was depression but turned out to be AuAdhd and being on a medication that exacerbated my symptoms, my concerns were brushed aside, and I was simply told to increase my medication dosage, despite expressing that the current medication was no longer effective. This disregard for my mental health needs only made my condition worse and left me feeling unsupported and isolated.nnEven recently, when I reached out to the practice to explain my ongoing issues, the reception staff were dismissive and unhelpful. Their lack of empathy and unwillingness to listen only added to my frustration and that’s without mentioning they NEVER have appointments.nnWhen I raised a complaint about these issues to the practice manager, it was disregarded entirely. There was no acknowledgment of the misdiagnosis, the mishandling of my depression treatment, or the dismissive behavior of the reception staff. This lack of accountability and empathy is deeply troubling and reflects poorly on the practice's commitment to patient care.nnGaslighting tactics were employed throughout these experiences, making me question my own experiences and feelings. This behavior is unacceptable from any member of a healthcare team who should prioritize patient well-being and provide support.nnI urge this GP practice to reflect on their approach to patient care and recognise the impact of their dismissive behaviour, both from medical staff and administrative personnel.nnPatients deserve to be heard, respected, and treated with compassion, not gaslit and disregarded. It is a must for healthcare providers and administrative staff alike to prioritise the emotional and physical well-being of their patients, and I expect nothing less from my GP practice in the future.nnMy advice is DON’T waste your time registering with them.
Absolutely impossible to get an appointment. The app always says 'no appointments available' and when you call you end up having to wait on the line for over an hour to inevitably be told there are no more appointments left for that day.... entirely pointless to sign up for this GP surgery.
