Nice local supermarket 3 minutes' walk to be precise! so, very handy for last-minute, or forgotten, bits and pieces. Very friendly and helpful staff. Would be great for the weekly shop, too, but that's what Aldi's for, isn't it...?!
10/02/2025. I went in Tesco this afternoon to buy some flowers. I chose a bunch of tulips and a bunch of daffodils. When I went to pay for them I found I had left my debit card at home and didn't have sufficient cash to pay for my flowers. I was in the self check out area and the staff member in charge came over to me because she saw me getting flustered. I asked for the transaction to be deleted off the till and said I would return the flowers to the buckets. The dark haired staff member, forgive me I didn't get your name, immediately said she would pay for my flowers and reassured me it was alright. Sheila was more concerned that I wouldn't have my flowers than she was about the cost. I offered the cash I had in my purse but she refused. I was overwhelmed by this lady's kindness and the no fuss attitude she showed me. Thank you so very much your kindness, it was outstanding.nSheila Bysouth
Main store in Whitchurch near to where I was staying so I was able to walk there- reasonable size supermarket and by the swimming pool - trolleys need £1 coins unusual for a shop of that size - car park nearby and also some buses start and or finish from there - very central to to the centre - able to get what I wanted and also use my clubcard
Great prices. Plenty of parking. Very helpful staff. Good cafe.
2 female staff called me thin, definitely will be returning
