Visited this store today. First visit here. For only my 3rd time I used the Scan as You shop method. Had a couple of age related items and required a trolley search.nTracey attended to the necessary checks. Tracey was lovely, polite & friendly. I found the whole process rather interesting. Thank you Tracey!!
Exeter branch of John Lewis is always a joy to shop in. Quality goods at a reasonable price. Helpful staff, excellent cafe and good toilets. I almost always buy electrical goods from John Lewis as after service has always been good.

We visited the Tesco Superstore in Taunton on Friday, January 23, 2026, and were fortunate to have Maggie as our checkout assistant. She was genuinely friendly, kind, and helpful, and we really enjoyed our quick chat with her as we were checking out. It’s rare to meet someone who makes a simple shopping trip such a pleasant experience. Maggie truly brightened our day, and she will be the reason we look forward to returning.
