Never used this store before, my partner was made to feel like a criminal by the security guard that appeared to be trailing him around the store and when I went to purchase alcohol the till girl had to ask for assistance as the duty staff was busy chatting with a friend. When he was she came over she was clearly not happy at the interruption and when I produced my ID for my purchase she felt compelled to check both sides of my newly replaced license despite my Dob (both my partner and I are nearing 30)being clearly printed on the front. Then when the till crashed she did not appear happy at being requested to get a manual copy of my receipt since the machine stated it was still processing my card details. The whole experience is not what I would expect from a company of Tesco's reputation. I am most disgusted and will be sharing this on other public media forms

Normally ok,, but today waited 5 minutes for a young man to take my money, said helo my still did not make any attempt to be served,, is this normal customers service at tesco,, get served straight away at eg, at waitrose..another unhappy customer..

A handy addition to Taunton High Street but nothing special. A reasonable selection of food given the quirky shape of the store. Car park at the rear is a nice bonus but it is often full, perhaps with people taking advantage as there are always more cars in the car park than people in the store.

For an urban store, they have quite a large inventory. Decent prices. Self checkout. Booze, munchies, as well as real meals available. Clean.
