Beware Horizon and Tesco have changed the parking restrictions. Its covered by ANPR so you will get a fine. Between 8pm and midnight closing you are only allowed 1 hour. If you do get a fine just screenshot your clubcard activity from your app and appeal straight away. They will immediately rescind it. Its just a scam really
Shopped at Tesco for many years won't be coming again every time I go in I have security guards following me round. I like to shop in peace and not be harassed. I an elderly and noticed yesterday they was doing it with another elderly lady. Managers sort your staff out. I know security have a job to do but it's ridiculous. Notice they pull vulnerable people. They don't follow stocky men about!!!
The woman working self-checkout in the mornings with bushy red hair is incredibly rude. Talked to me as if I was a thief and was all around very disrespectful. Will not be returning.
I am extremely disappointed with Tesco Oldham Chadderton Superstore. As a loyal customer who spends over £200 a month here, I am appalled by the recent parking fine I received. On 28th July 2024, I made two separate visits to the store on the same day, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. Despite this, I received a £70 parking fine for supposedly exceeding the maximum stay period. This is completely unacceptable.nnHorizon Parking, the company managing the parking, failed to account for the fact that my wife and I visited at different times, using the same car. Instead, they recorded it as one continuous stay, resulting in an unjust fine.nnI urge other shoppers to be cautious and avoid shopping more than once a day, or you may end up with an unwarranted fine like I did. It's frustrating to see a store I frequent so often not taking responsibility for such errors. I hope Tesco addresses this issue promptly and ensures their customers are treated fairly.nnUpdate: The fine was rescinded by horizon parking after sending proof of the Tesco Clubcard points.
Not very customer friendly. They have the coinstar machine in the far corner of the store next to the checkouts. However, when you put your coins in and go to pay for your groceries, you can not redeem your voucher given to you by the machine, you have to pay for your goods and then go all the way across the store to customer services to redeem your voucher for cash.!!! Ludicrous! It would be more feasible to put the coinstar machine next to customer services. I spoke to the store, and they weren't interested, I am recovering from stage 4 cancer and struggle to walk properly without being in pain. This didn't seem to matter, so I thought I would take it upon myself to make a review.
