Visited early Sunday morning in Oct. Fuel pay at pump no problem.  Plenty of free parking with wide disabled bays.  Some people still wearing face coverings. Most shelves were fully stocked, with only a few items we wanted unavailable. Plenty of staff around to help.  Checkout quick, safe and simple.

Went into Chadderton ASDA yesterday for some birthday cake candles there was a colleague on the same aisle putting out stock. That's what I first thought then he had both earphones in busy speaking to someone on the phone. when I asked him twice just ignored me.

Fantastic service from staff member Julie Alexander. She is really polite and always helpful. Earlier this year I got cash back from the self service area and left it in the machine. Julie booked it into customer service and when I returned the following week it was there waiting for me. I never have to wait to get help with Julie. Steve

Awful trip today. All fine until I got to the tills. I’d selected 3 gift sets priced £6 but 3 for 2. When scanned they came up individually at £14 so I called over a member of staff and explained they were labelled £6. She told me they weren’t and I assured her they were. To check she asked me to come to find the items. So leaving my half self served shopping I went to see, and yes they were labelled £6 on the stand. A lady was using the self scanner as we got the the stand and she said to me and the shop assistant Sue, ‘ they should go if this as they’re marked wrong’. Sue said they wouldn’t not when they should be £14. We walked back to the tills. I said please take them off as I only went to buy them at £6. This should have been the end of it. Yes id been inconvenienced but at this stage I just wanted to finish scanning my shopping. Sue didn’t remove the item instead went for her supervisor Sue 2. This is where the problem started. What an arrogant and rude woman. She needs to realise she is paid to deal with customers! Instead of taking the original shop assistants information that yes the items was advertised at £6 she asked me to go show her! I said no thanks I’ve just been around the supermarket once. Can she please just take them off. Buy this time it’s getting embarrassing people can see the fuss and I just wanted to get out of the shop! She then says we’ll ‘ I was going to honour the £6 but if your being rude’! Why say that. Only to antagonise a customer! I’d already asked for the item to be removed. Asda you need to talk to Sue about customer service. This could have easily been rectified with the supervisor handling the situation with some care and believing her colleague who confirmed I was right. She should have offered me the items at £6 not try to say no because I was greeting stressed. I have a blue badge, I have severe anxiety plus had part of my foot removed recently and it’s painful being stood up and walking. The who situation was drawing attention to us but supervisor Sue had no people skills what so ever. Really poor service!

Horror Horror! accidentally took medium size trolley  into the basket side self checkout as it was partly empty, a middle aged lady staff shouted out loud, "can't bring your trolley it needs to be on the otherside!", soo loudly everyone stopped and started looking, felt really embarrassed and degraded, 20 years of loyalty and spending half my income here, no dignity or respect for customers. Just put my head down scanned my three items and walked away. Be careful really rude and unpleasant staff, spoilt my day after a long hard day at work. Visited on the 26.09.2022 -20:10 to 2030, check Ur camera you will see the particular staff, didn't even get her name,  decided not to challenge her behaviour and waste energy, really really upsetting.

Hi I have been shopping in this store 4th of November 2022 about 1.30 someone heat my car well I shoping in the store. I asked security guy can you  check cctv anything catchup. He said they're  is not any cctv in the car par Park. I am really disappointed

Beware if your thinking of working here recently my son  worked here and cause he would not coment on a girls remarks she cried bully to a manager my son did not get the chance put his side of it he was told just resign There me thinking theres two sides to every story  just left him wondering whats going on  to say he put is all into impressing the managers doing overtime when they asked him too then they just told him leave without  hearing his side when it turns out it all just heresay no proof anything happened etc but the manager just took easy route get rid of one problem solved cant even return our call to explain whats gone on and Asda want more young people work for them  lol and they wonder  why no staff place is a joke as managers there just bullies

I went to the pizza counter on a Thursday  5.30pm.  Told they can't make pizza because of short staff!!!  Tried to complain to a manager.  They tried to fob me off with everything.  How is asda staff levels my issue when you have a lady physically making pizza at the counter.  Was told if they have to make me one they have to make everyone one.  Was told they finish at 8 and too many pizza to make for the display.. Really negative negative negative.  So I asked is there any other stores I can go to. I asked if they could just call them to ensure the service is available so I'm not wasting my time like I appear to be here.  Was told that might take a while.  I said it's ok ill just wait here for you.  Then they came back 5 mins later we have found a member of staff willing to make a pizza for you..  Willing!  Pizza was not as good as in the week considering they started with 4 pieces of pepperoni.  Pls any one you try a pizza with 4 pieces of pepperoni on there..  Feel like I was a thorn in there side.  Manager was OK but very very reluctant to help and it was with no smile.  She probably only found that staff member because picking up the phone seemed like a short staff issue too.  Or maybe just couldn't be bothered.  I don't know but when asked how they think it feels from a consumer point of view given you have a pizza person in for next 2 and half hours. And it's your issue about staff levels to be denied service then try to make me drive to another store which they seemed happy with.  They could only agree it was not great but just not very forthcoming with help.   Tw it was me that offered to drive to another store.  Probably will keep to aldi and tesco and just go dominoes for the pizza given what I ate last night was not even a half hearted attempt

Lack of prices on homewares, but staff were friendly and helpful in finding prices and returning the unwanted item to the shelves. As a Morrisons customer I found the layout illogical, but it was my best experience of an Asda store in ages.

I love this Asda friendly staff and local to me but why as a customer I can’t get through when I phone up it says if your a customer please press 1 then when I do it talks about things to do with Asda then says goodbye so hard to get through customer service these days and this happens all the time no matter what time I ring
