All the staff are helpful & pleasant except 1 the older woman on customer service is rude & not very nice, I went to pay on customer service as I was buying cigarettes and was paying separately, She was joking with a man before me who was waiting for something so he moved for me to be served so I paid for my things and had told her I wanted ciggy's as well but separately but she was joking and talking to another man and I had to ask again and was told oh come on now !!! I felt totally humiliated and angry at her attitude, I don't normally complain or write reviews but it is playing on me as tjis is not the first time I have been treated like this by her she needs Customer Service training ASAP or put to work where she does not need to deal with the public. I will not be going to Pontardawe Tesco again as her treatment,attitude & Rudeness is not worth it.
This supermarket is well known for its quality products, and hospitable staff, with others raving about the helpful service and the store's accessibility. Although it is quite a busy store, it has to offer a wide variety of merchandise, from vegan food, and pet foods, to hot counters, meat counters, and helpful customer service…
Toilets stink in this place, need a good clean and some air freshner. Shelves were not very full in the sandwich section, looked like nobody had a job to fill them. Big car park but a pain to get out of and back on to the main road.
Slightly annoying as they'd reorganized some of the aisles. I was looking for feta cheese but it was in a different aisle than the cheddar cheese.
I would love more variety in vegetarian food, not only vegan. Also, most of the tills are now gone, so queues are crazy, and people are losing jobs. Also, people going through robotic checkouts are often hanging around waiting for assistance. The staff are BRILLIANT there though. Xx
