I was down visiting and we shopped at the store in Baglan.it is light and airy with a wide range of products and beautiful flowers.nWe were up early so had breakfast there. Shock horror , the tea bags were unwrapped so every one has to retrive their tea bag by hand in the opened bag.nPeople with colds blowing noses some people don't wash their hands after using the loo.nNeeds rethinking
Review of Morrisons Baglan, Port TalbotnnI am extremely disappointed with the level of service and quality control at Morrisons, particularly with their online operations. After numerous issues with the quality of perishable items I’ve ordered through Amazon from Morrisons, I reached out with a formal complaint regarding the unreasonably short shelf lives of products. To my dismay, the response I received was dismissive and completely failed to address the core issue.nnRepeatedly, I’ve received large packs of chicken with a use-by date within two days of delivery – an unacceptable practice that makes it nearly impossible to consume such quantities in time. When shopping in-store at Morrisons, I’ve never encountered such problems, which raises the question of why online customers are treated with such disregard. It feels like the online customers are being offloaded products that are nearing expiry – a clear indication of poor standards and a lack of respect for customer trust.nnWhat’s even more frustrating is the response from their senior team, which essentially boiled down to justifying this behavior under a “minimum three-day life guarantee.” Their explanation was tone-deaf and seemed to completely miss the point of the complaint. What customer would want perishable items with the bare minimum of shelf life? The assumption that customers can adjust their lives around poor quality control is nothing short of insulting.nnThe experience has been further soured by the lack of accountability. Morrisons clearly doesn’t value their online customers or care about their experience, and the Baglan branch seems to have serious issues with how they manage and fulfill orders. I’ve now lost faith in Morrisons as a reliable retailer, and I will be taking my business elsewhere. If you care about quality, freshness, and good customer service, I strongly urge you to avoid this branch – and perhaps Morrisons altogether.
The worst Morrisons I've visited. We visited at 4pm and there was hardly no fresh stock. The salad bar was already closed, as was the meat counters.nnThe veg and salad areas were near enough empty and what was left was poor quality. There was greying meat on the shelves and when we told a manager of a leaking fridge he just shrugged and said he knew.nnOverall, poor performance from a large supermarket.
I go to morrison have a great fish counter & butchers department's
Store has gone through its layout change having added extra self service and self scan payment points. There's still a little work to do but even during the changes its still possible to get everything we usually buy. It might take a little longer finding everything as several of the aisles have been moved around. The bakery, fish, deli and meat counters remain in the same place with the same good quality and affordable items.
