I love this store I used to work here nothing too much trouble for the staff nobody call the staff unhelpful as when I worked here and they still are the most helpful staff I've worked with love you all I believe my favourite manager has left I wish her success wherever she is as she helped me my sister shops here and my brother goes to st Helens my brother is right Tesco food is great it's because of him I can shop at Tesco it's the best brand in the UK
A good handy local store. The staff are both friendly and ready to help if you have an issue or can't find a item.nnThere aren't any clothes here though and the electronics / entertainment is limited so you need to go to a larger store further out Haydock/Warrington/St. Helens if this is what you're looking for.
Poor choice of products. Very little selection at all.nnThe store used to be far better but in the last 10 years or so it's gone down hill drastically.nnMy main gripe is that they shut the tobacco /customer services counter early. Between 7-8pm when the stores open till 10. Been in there for lottery tickets on a Friday/Saturday night in time for the lottery and not been able to get 1 due to the counter being unstaffed.....nReally really poor service in my opinion. CAN DO BETTER!
I would like to thank the security guard and 2 male members off staff.. I'd hurt my leg.. They were so helpful getting me the mobile scooter that they have in tesco. They couldn't do enough. For me.. Fantastic staff and so caring and helpfulnReally appreciate it.. Well done tesco staff earlstown
An absolute joke of a store. Can’t get the basics right. Put the wrong prices on loads of items. I tried to buy an electric toothbrush from here. Clearly gave the price. Nice and visible sign in front of it on the shelf. Went to pay for it and the price was double. When I questioned it I was made to look stupid. Then when they checked I was right. It was advertised at the price I saw. They refused to then sell it for the price they advertised it for. The Manager point blank refused to discuss it. So if you visit here always check you are paying the correct amount they will try and con you like they did to me. I will avoid this place from now on.
