The last poster was very wrong. I own a multimillion pound business and would love to have staff like the ones there. They are so welcoming helpful and willing to go the extra mile. Pitty the company tesco is rubbish,tax dodgers, who dont even pay tax in the UK. I pay mine. If it wasn't for the staff there I would shop elsewhere. Weldone guys at tesco sandbanks. Chris

Sadly the staff here appear to be "jobs worths". Our 21 and 19 year old daughters were refused the purchase of a bottle of wine because they were accompanied by their 17 year old brother....in fact, the staff would not look at their ID and just flatly refused. The girls explained that they were bringing the wine back to the house where we were, however three members of staff (aged in their 20s themselves) still refused. Had it been us buying the wine in the company of our son, presumably the same rules would apply?!? Madness...

This building used to be a local pub a few years back and now it's yet another Tesco shop. These stores are so commonplace these days that I half expect to wake up one morning and find that they have opened a Tesco branch my airing cupboard. Having said that, I like this store a lot. The staff are always pleasant and help out, rather than forcing punters to use the dreaded automated checkout machines. (Does anyone really like using those damn things?) Plus, it’s very handy to have a shop by the beach that doesn't charge a mint.
