Not friendly staff. I went to buy a Monstet energy drink. When a staff asked for ID she look at it and look at me wired like I were under age and it’s a fake ID. I’m 5.1 and In my 20s.” However she said needs another staff to accept on the self check out because her card was not working. Another staff came to me ask for ID. I said I already shown to the othernColleague and replied Yh I know.nThis is over a monster drinks. I felt like getting judged and they gone to far
Last night. At about 1030pm. I walked in the store after a very long day. I was at the till and put my items down. Im 39 years old. I was asked to remove my hat as the cashier wanted to look at my face. I hesitated as there was no sign on the front door. I was told if i didnt remove my hat then i would never be able to use the store again as there has robberies lately and it is now COMPANY POLICY. which i replied, then why no sign? A security guard came over to add to the ridiculous situation. Acting very bullish. Thats his job i suppose. To which i replied politely. Then why did the security guard not ask me at the door aswell to remove my baseball cap. I will not be using the store. I did not remove my hat out of principle. You are not the police. I have a health condition with my hair. There are no signs making any customer aware and the security guard did not enforce this rule on the way in. I am very offended as i was spoken to like a criminal and not a customer and then told i will be banned from the store in a very abrupt and rude manner. Be careful what you wear here.
Just perfect for the beach. If you are planning on sensible, of course! Drinking off the train, straight down Albarny Drive and a swift left the LOCAL store on the corner is great too, just their chillers aren't as good so I'm afraid I PERSONALLY recommend Tesco. All the food and drink you need for a budget family day at the beach, which is 2 minutes away or thirty seconds If you have excited children! round the corner.nn1 star off for dreadful till set up. No, no big deal but it sadly stops the experience from being in store perfect. 9/10 if I could.
Great little store. Car park is brilliant for quickly dropping in. Staff are always super friendly and helpful. The shelves are always well stocked too with good variety. A very good stop if your in need of a few quick items.
It's a pretty standard Tesco Express but it seems to have a very limited range compared to the other Herne Bay store. I normally visit in the evening and there are very few staff. I'm not going to tar them all with the same brush but the late shift like to chat to each other and will often continue talking whilst serving you.
