Great all-round supermarket. Friendly staff and a very good range of products.
Not enough people on checkouts. They seem to be trying to funnel customers into self checkouts, or card payment only. This attitude is very annoying . STOP TRYING TO FORCE US TO GO CASH FREE. I USE CASH & IF I CANNOT DO THIS I WILL GO ELSEWHERE. GM
Some empty shelves but found good selection of items for a bbq including some really tasty Tesco branded plant-based burgers. Everything in the except the disposable bbq was purchased from here. Would return.
Some empty shelves. Some empty freezers shelves. Good offer on wine purchases for the long weekend,Queens Party celebrations but no bunting or celebration items such as flags. Fruit and vegetables still wrapped in plastic.......ggrrrr.
Went in grabbed wat I needed paid and left... Simple
I thought that I had lost my phone. Panic! The staff were wonderful and so helpful. Even the trolley man who turned out the bins to check . I found the phone later but they kept me calm and I was able to do my shopping. Thank you.
Often don't have basic items that I need
Not the best Tesco I have ever been to, but still has all the products you would expect. Great parking with decent sized spaces less likelihood of car door incidents. Convenient Petrol station with a selection of goods open longer hours than the store itself namely weekends.
Went to the café for a quick bite to eat. It was good but queued for 15 mins before being able to order and the food took 45 minutes to arrive. All I ordered was a ham and cheese toastie. How does it take that long to make a toastie?
I attempted to buy a child's garden chair that was on display in your store today. The scan-as-you-shop scanner failed to scan it but told me it would be fine and to take it to the till. The assistant at the till was also unable to scan it and so asked his friend. By the time I had three people "helping" me and they could not scan the chair I had picked out, or any other from the shelf, so they simply told me they couldn't sell me the item. They knew the price, I had the money, why could they not just ring it through for the correct cost? To be honest, I am fairly sure they just wanted to get me out of the shop because it was the difficult problem. Completely unimpressed.
