Great shop staff lovely. Would like to thank Douglas and Jacqueline for all their help and kindness in retrieving my ring that went under the coin machine in store they were so brilliant. Thank you so much
A St Andrew’s Ceilidh was organised for Galashiels primary school children and was held in Queens Leisure Centre on 1 December. Over 200 children attended the event where they enjoyed dancing 6 ceilidh dances to live music provided by a local accordionist. Refreshments of water, apples, bananas and crisps were provided by Tesco which the children thoroughly enjoyed and thanked Lorraine and Laura for their hard work in providing it with a very big cheer. It is an event which is well supported by the schools and we really appreciate the generous contribution that Tesco makes. Thank you very much
Good deals can be found, but the Club Card system is a nightmare on the app. Repeatedly needs to be authenticated and often poor signal in store to do so. Staff unable to process order with club card savings when this happens and lead me to abandon my shop on several occasions now. Won't be shopping here again.
Me and my perfect 2nd wife Olivia love tescos. Best super market in history. Running out of milk? Story of my life. But I need let that drag me down. Whenever I see a tescos I think “that’s gotta be you”. They always play the best song ever. I’ve been 18 times this week, it’s the little things like club cards for me. The one things I would say is, Iceland rivals left a review there too but one way or another Tesco always wins. All my friends in Asda just have Stockholm syndrome. I was walking in the wind through the dark when I got the strong urge to buy some baked beans. They don’t know about us me and the wife are into magic tricks. We just want to live while we’re young. One thing about Tesco- you & I will love it. Xxx
Was busyish but got everything I wanted including the kfc crisps I wanted but everyone had given up on social distancing or any kind of politeness a child whose parents were ignoring her kept leaning on the scales while I was trying to buy my stuff and they ignored me when I politely asked if they could stop her from doing it but even after they left the machine kept malfunctioning which was annoying. I also saw two different kind of cooler box type things but when I asked what they did nobody seemed to know exactly how they worked which was disappointing considering there own brand is £60 and the coke version £95 you would think someone would know what they are photos below not exactly impressed
i was at the toilet with my friends and a woman that cleans the toilets came in and told us to get out or she was going to call security even though we just went to the toilet and didn’t even do anything bad i’m very sad that me and my friends have been treated this way just because we are teenagers that doesn’t mean we are going to cause trouble
Great place has everything you need and the lad Thomas was very helpful directing me to where things where
Decent Tescos, big and with a fair amount of selection. Cafe staff are lovely because they let me sit in the cafe undisturbed for ages doing my work which is appreciated, sounds silly but the thing that kinda lets it down is lack of petrol station to compete with Asda.
Store closes at 00:00 is a joke. Cigarette counter closes at 8pm if not before. Was the only person at self serve checkouts doing my thing next thing i know im been handed my card by a member of staff. A polite your card is there would of done no need to touch it with your grubby hands!! If the machines were faster to process i could of taken my card before putting my shopping in a bag. No hand gel on way out to even clean or wash my card 2 meter rule is non existent in store.
First time for a while since I have done a big shopping at Galashiels store and just want to say a big big thank you to all the staff who were so helpful in showing me where various items /products could be found . Despite them being busy there was no hesitation in assisting me and nothing was any bother . Well done staff your a credit to Tesco .
