I tried to redeem two £10 eGift vouchers yesterday and the young girl said one was invalid and the other only has £1 left in it so I had to pay for items by my debit card. I tried online today and the vouchers were accepted no problem! I think you need to instruct the Galashiels staff as she was a bit dim!
Staff very good, clearly lost by the process too Needed a laptop bag. Wanted to review between 2 Told can't review between 2 due to COVID. Solution would be to buy both and get refund for the unwanted item. So still touch and play with item but get a refund once decided which one I touched and fondled with was unsuitable Refused to let us see choices. Reiterated to see 2 laptop bags side by side in plastic wrapping would be unsafe for all us to COVID Same member of staff however able to walk next to me on shop floor to show me how to order required one, key in the details for me and let me use same machine she touched and used to pay by my card, as she stood 3 inches from me, with no mask gloves nor sanitiser. Rediculous.....
My husband bought a scooter for our son but it doesn't work properly. The front wheel is wonky and made our son fall off the scooter a few times while trying it outside. Lady who worked there and her manager saw no problem and in a very rude manner told my husband to take his item and leave the shop. We're left fuming Contacted the phone line and we had a product safety executive involved, I hope we'll get it resolved although I'm not happy I have to return there for that purpose. Upset and disappointed. How can you treat a customer like this..
On my initial phone the young man said he couldn’t hear my for noise on the line I said I would call back after two attempts when the recording told me due to a volume of calls my call couldn’t be answered !!!
Ordered couple of items to pick up on the way northbound, wished I'd chose an alternative shop! These employees have got to be the most rude/ignorant I've ever come across. Definitely a customer service course is required or maybe termination of contract for some? Argos should be ashamed of the manner these individuals speak to people.Never again!
Came into the store on the 27th. Employee behind the counter was the most abrupt and rudest person I’ve experienced in a long time. He obviously didn’t want to be there at all. He also shouted at an old woman who was in the queue behind me. She was also taken aback by this attitude as she mentioned this to me. Another Argos with questionable staff members.
Worst company ever! Waited about 4 months for a delivery of drawers to then be delivered a bed instead!!!! Then to add insult to injury the drawers that I had waited so long for were no longer in stock?!! Also had a very large double bed in my hallway for a week until they picked it back up. Would never use this company again. useless! 1 star is too much.
Went in this morning, girl on till acted as she didn't want to be there. Very abrupt no please or thank you, treated like I had plague. Will never be back in the shop again.
Rude staff and very unhelpful. Asked to see 2 variations of the same item Duffle bag and wanted me to buy both then to return whichever i didnt want instead of just showing me both on the table
Bought a washer but as theres nowhere to pick up with a vehicle it was placed outside and I was left to get it over the bridge until Lewis a very friendly staff member trollied it over for me and right over to the van .. so pleased as we would of been stuck
