Nice place and great staff. Prices are very reasonable for town. The terrace is nice and spacey even though a little hard to find walk all the way to the back of the bar, 2nd staircase on the left there is also a bar on the terrace so you don't need to come down to order your drinks, big plus I think. We didn't order food, but it did look good. Defiantly visit again and recommend place.
I'd never been in the evening but it was a great vibe. Friendly people and staff. Surprisingly great beer selection too!Service: 5/5
On Saturday night there was an incident with a man in there. I told one of the bouncers and he took it very seriously, he alerted all the staff, found the man and made all my friends feel safe and comfortable. All the staff were brilliant and I really appreciate the bouncers that helped, will definitely be returning soon!Food: 5/5
This place is supposed to have a 5 star rating because their service was good and the DJ is awesome. A good mix of music encompassing afrobeats, R and B, techno, dance hall, even Spanish music. Everyone here is in high spirits and has good vibes. The cocktail mix was splendid, had several glasses of espresso martini because of how good they mix it. Nevertheless, they got a 3 star because one of the bar staff working on the 5th of April 2024 made me feel so unsafe and threatened me. It was my first time at this place, and it was so big with lots of compartmentalized spaces both upstairs and downstairs. I mistakenly went to the side door of the bar trying to find my way before I looked up and saw staff only . Before I could do a turn, he came behind me screaming that I should get out , he didn't even wait for me to explain that I was lost and point me to where I could get a drink. People around noticed and helped out. He still came to the bar, staring sternly at me using harsh words. When I was done at the club, I saw him walking out with me and following me. At that point I was so worried and had to stop to let him walk past me the crossing to the other side of the road. If this place has a CCTV inside and mostly outside, they can go back to this date and that staff would be seen following me out .
I am a 5 foot tall small girl, I got shoved and quite frankly treated horribly, I asked the bouncer to help me, instead he kicks me out! stay away from this place if you want a pleasant night out where you feel safe. Over priced drinks, over stuffed atmosphere and horrendous staff! For girls if you don’t have your boyfriend there, and aren’t going to flirt with the bouncers for their help- as a human being should, STAY THE HELL AWAY.
Really diverse club so was nice ‼ could’ve been better with the DJing tbh and drinks were a bit pricey but other than that it was cool just very crowdedAtmosphere: 3/5
Not a favourite destination for me or Martin. Been a few times and it can get really busy. They sell real ale so Martin Meerkat had a pint of Vocation Bread and Butter. A good pint. The missus was not impressed with her pricey wine. Sadly another card only establishment so loses a* for that. Apparently there is a roof terrace but I have never been. The bar has the urban industrial bare brick look.
Came in for a cocktail, bartender only did a quick wet shake of a pisco sour. It was disappointingly textured. As he was doing so another girl asked what he was making then rolled her eyes at me and scoffed. I get it. I’ve worked in a craft cocktail bar for four years, you have your own opinions about what people are ordering, but at least turn your back to the customer if you want to make a face. Paid and then went to sit outside and was stopped as they don’t have a license for glassware outside but nobody asked me on the bar so had to come back in to dump the drinks into plastic. It’s completely fine that it’s plastic outside but I would have liked to have known. :
Oh boy, where do I even begin with The Terrace? If you've ever wondered what it feels like to be transported back to a time when ignorance was considered a virtue, look no further. This place is like stepping into a bad history lesson mixed with a terrible nightclub experience. First off, the bouncers at the door must have degrees in micro-aggressions. It was like they were auditioning for the role of "villain in a civil rights documentary." The only thing they bounced was my faith in humanity. The only "terrace" they should be named after is the one they need to throw their entire operation off of. Inside, it got worse. Imagine a dance floor where the only thing colder than the stares is the DJ’s playlist. Honestly, I think they had a policy where the DJ stops the music every time someone of a different ethnicity tries to dance. At one point, I think I heard someone request a song and the DJ responded with, "Sorry, we don't take requests from your kind." The drinks? Oh, let's talk about those. I ordered a cocktail and I'm pretty sure it was just recycled sweat from their racist clientele. The bartender served it with a smirk that said, "I spit in this, and you probably deserved it." And don't even get me started on the decor. Who knew that confederate flags and tiki torches were making a comeback in the interior design world? It's like Joanna Gaines met with a history denier and decided to go wild. In short, The Terrace is the perfect place if you're looking to experience the charm of an old-timey racist rally, but with worse music and overpriced drinks. If you're someone who enjoys being disgusted by humanity's worst, then by all means, give it a visit. As for me, I'll be busy washing the stench of bigotry out of my clothes and soul for the next week.
This place is a must visit .from outside it looks small ,but looks are decieving the interior is incedible especially the roof terrace vibe is amazing ,with a great choice of drinks and friendly staff it makes it a great venue for either a late nightout in the evening or a quick drink .ive been coming here for years and love the place. Thoroughly recommend this place
