Great pool... lovely staff. Kids love it here. Changing rooms are adequate, and lockers are secure from what I've seen thus far. Ample parking available. Pricing is average for most fitness centres/swimming pools. Only downside is that open swim /family swim times are very limited, although this is common is most pools these days
It has a swimming pool and gym and also has a room where Zumba etc takes place. Womens , mens and family changing all with showers. Friendly staff. They know you by name which is a nice touch as it makes you feel more comfortable. Monthly, annual or pay by session. I'd advise you to pay monthly or annually for the pool as it is cheaper than by each visit. It has had new windows , new boilers, new seats for people to watch the pool and changing rooms have been done up to an ok standard, there are still things being done to the centre to make it better . Cannot tell you about the gym or any classes as I only use the pool. Sometimes the pool can be cold but you do warm up . That's the only reason I've given it 4 stars as the temperature of the pool is not always spot on . Oh and there is water aerobics which comes with your swimming membership.
I’d give zero stars if it were possible. Sent email in to cancel membership 20/11. Membership still not cancelled. Have reported to my bank under the direct debit guarantee scheme. Chased five times for a refund. No one calls you back when you are trying to cancel membership. They call you back when you are trying to sign up though!
Community owned facility with great facilities for a small town. The pool water is always clean & warmer than most pools. The gym has modern Techno gym equipment with good trainers for the circuit sessions.
Travelled quite a distance to take my grandson swimming only to find out the main part of the day was taken up with swimming lessons. Maybe an idea for their website to warn at what times the pool is actually open to swim. Very disappointed
Staff are great, seems clean enough and safe. Problem is that the premises are physically ruined. Half the lockers don't work, benches are broke, tiles are cracked. Locks got changed on the lockers, now the key numbers don't match the locker numbers..I could go on but you get the idea. Shame cos the overall experience is good.
Recently refurbished women's changing rooms, has made this place feel better. Nice little swimming pool if you just want to go for a swim with family. If you are on your own, like me and do not want children splashing everywhere. Go on Sunday after 12, as the pool is empty because all the families are heading home to have Sunday lunch! Many a time I have been the only swimmer from 1-2 pm.
Place looks dated but.....great gym facilities to use if your working away from home and looking to keep up your gym routine, a good sized pool what more do you need and set in a beautiful stunning area.
Went with our grandson today, a very good experience. Was pleasantly surprised to find the Coffee Morning taking place an excellent idea for raising money for the pool. We go regularly and are very pleased with the quality of the lessons for the very young and the helpfullness and politeness of the staff. Well done everyone.
We were in Tenbury Wells for the weekend as fancied a swim. This leisure centre whilst small is a bit of a gem. Well staffed, loads of free parking, cheap prices and most importantly the pool is a good size, clean and is nice and warm.
