With a huge family its hard to find a house big enough for family get togethers which is why we have returned to Telford Manor House many times, it has absolutely everything you could wish for allowing for a relaxed break just 5 mins in the car to Moffat.nChris and Thomas are so welcoming and leave the most amazing welcome treat selection for both the adults and children.nThank you so much, from The McManus family, helping us make many lovely memories, and I am sure you will be seeing us again next year.
Lovely place and the hosts left an amazing array of nibbles for us, even thinking of the kids in our party. Absolutely brilliant place to play sardines! Only 4 for location as there wasn't a garden as such and it was very close to a busy road and roundabout - we couldn't leave the dogs and young kids unattended outside. We liked it that much that we tried to book again for Twixmas 2025 but we were already too late
14 ladies, 3 night stay for big birthdays. Amazing house. Everything you need in both kitchens. Party area in the basement. Big dining room. 2 large sitting rooms. Lovely big bedrooms. Nice walks in immediate area, and half hour journey to dumfries for celebrations. Great weekend
Having been a regular visitor to this area for many years, it was a pleasant surprise to stumble upon this little gem of a property. The peace and tranquility is wonderful. The accommodation is more than acceptable and I thoroughly recommend it, and its also close to Moffat which is well worth a visit.
Perfect place to stay with a large group. Plenty of parking and close to nearby villages and shops. Loved the fact there were two kitchens. Lots of bathrooms and bedrooms and so much space for everyone. Would be nice if the windows opened as we got incredibly warm. The outdoor furniture needs to be thrown away. Half of it is falling apart and we got loads of scratches. Please buy new tables and chairs.
