Tegg's Nose is one of the best places to walk in the Peak District. It offers great views over the Peaks to the west and over Cheshire to the east. There are a number of trails going through the country park of variable difficulty. You can park at the top for an easy walk or on the south side from Langley to make it a little more challenging. Then off to the Leather Smithy for a well deserved drink!

An old quarry sits at the end of an easy path from the car park (pay and display), and tea room. It's a warren of winding paths and steps with some old machinery still in place. Sadly the boards describing the industrial heritage have been stolen. It's surprisingly nice, with lovely views all round, and plenty of wildlife to see.

Good place to start-finish a walk. The parking is good although it is a pay and display. My advice is to take plenty of change as the machine does take card payments but it was painfully slow. There is plenty of information on the area and suggested walks on notice boards and leaflets that were available in the cafe area. The cafe is small but good and provides drinks, cakes and other snacks. The place is also dog and walker friendly. The Easter weekend that I was walking there were activities for children and it seemed the place that may have done stuff all year round. It forms part of the Gritstone Trail and is one of the main start-finish sections if you are walking the trail in stages.

Excellent place for a walk. There's a cafe with toilet facilities. Cakes are good. Can be busy on sunny weekends. Parking is free.

the park is nice with many routes which never gets boring. the cafe is small but serves the best hot chocolate. it was hard to get there without a car and i dont recommend people to walk to the park, it is a bit dangerous. overall, it was great
