Surgical and medical staff superb. They can not be faulted in any way. Reception staffing however a different matter. It is nearly impossible to ring reception as the call goes through to x ray first. Wrong letter sent out. Asked to go early for appointment to find myself waiting for longer than I should have been.

Only had one visit to Tees Valley Acklam and very impressed. They have obviously brought the character old practice with them. Very efficient, couteous staff, always a friendly welcome at reception and Mr Cody who treat me, lovely man, one of life's gentlemen

Came here for tooth extraction....customer service skills absolutely shocking....turned up with hubby in tow as was extremely anxious...sent up to next floor where I was greeted by a nurse who took me through to treatment or what I thought was treatment room only to be put in a small windowless room and nurse went through pre procedure checks...fine so far....but then left on my own for over an hour no updates no staff to be seen...despite the fact I advised was anxious and worried and meantime husband still sat in waiting room not being updated nor able to ask for update as staff were behind a sealed window....so he was worried....and when I finally was asked to come through I had to ask what the hold up was and was told had been running late all day...would have thought this should have been mentioned at the beginning...found the whole thing extremely traumatising....however Dr and his staff were great...but would not recommend the place.....

Well apart from the reception staff being miserable on floor 3. (Maybe it was a long day for them. ☺) the nurses were very professional and knew what they were doing, putting me at ease and explained everything. And as for the doctor who dealt with me, He was friendly and also very professional. Overall these people all do a fantastic job. 😷
