I’ve tried this place a few times and each time the food is getting worse I overheard today mama has retired. This is probably why are we not getting the quality of food that we are used to? I ordered today, crispy spring duck rolls omg disgusting, it taste like eating rotten compost I’ve never known crispy spring duck rolls to have purple cabbage I think that what it was hence photo good money in the bin even the chicken curry was dry and the rice was dry nasty and the black bean sauce with beef chewy, and didn’t taste right again waste of money maybe Health and safety should be advised ?
Been here 2 times the workers are not as friendly when you walk in. The prices of their meal does not match up to the expectation of their food salt and pepper spare ribs small £6.60?? There special fried rice extremely dry and the meat aswell and not enough pork inside.
I was well impressed with this place. The staff here are so friendly it was so refreshing. I found the lady behind the counter to be quite charming. Food is delicious! I was recommended by all the nurses at kings college hospital that this is the place to order from if you want a chinese. Needless to say I was not disappointed!
I've been ordering Chinese here for a year but last night I noticed the chicken in my special fried rice had mould on it and I thought to check my shredded chicken aswell.... yeah hard pass. SOO anoyying because the flavour is there but if you investigate the food you will see how much wrong there is. Also, if you're going to order from any resturant make sure you can see the kitchen, because why is the kitchen hidden? let that sink in loool
I appreciate you may be appealing to an African customer base, however, the rice meals are way too dry, including the meat. Get some moisture guys so I don’t choke to death.
Will update stars when I return. All I've had so far is a simple beef fried rice and it's definitely better than some of the competition, the beef was actually well cooked, the rice was full of flavor and the chillies they use are really hot if you like a nice kick. Cash only but this place is cheap in my opinion. Definitely coming back to buy more...

Lovely place takeaway a few minutes from Denmark Hill A&E Camberwell Road Quick service friendly staff Very good price I love the fried rice and beef in black beans sauce Open Tuesday to Saturday 11:30-2:00pm 17:00-23:30 Sunday. 17:00-00:00 I would comeback any time there
They don't call this the best Chinese restaurant in South East London for nothing. Perfectly cooked order to go, very tasty and at a great price point for the large quantity you get. Thumbs up!
On colleagues recommendations I walked down to order myself a special fried rice. After the first taste, my first impression was ‘hmm - dull and dry’ after another two or three mouthfuls I realised… The rice and the pork had this charcoal taste… only to realise that it was burnt. How do you burn special fried rice???? - So that went in the bin after 4 mouthfuls… What a waste of £6:50 and I’ll look forward to a 14hr shift with no lunch. Thanks Tasty house
