We had a really nice experience here last night and this restaurant was interesting and unique compared to other Michelin restaurants. The food was good and the service was fantastic as well. Every staff member was kind and attentive throughout the whole evening. Although it was very pricey for everything, it was a cool experience. We got the Cantonese duck, rather than the Peking, which was a bit on the chewier side, but everything else was wonderful, especially the charcoal buns for dessert.
Delicious Chinese restaurant in London. Even though it is a bit expensive, it is still worth to visit. Staffs are very nice and helpful. Signature Peking duck and crispy rice with seafood in shrimp broth are must try dishes.
Food is excellent, the duck a must. Top 3 high end Chinese restaurant in London. This has been our higher end go to since it opened, and a safe bet with parents. But most recently we feel service has been a let down.
Not quite sure how many stars but the service was definitely not Michelin star standard. We came here twice and has same issue twice. We didn’t get enough attention after we were seated, e.g ordered sparkling water to start but waited for a long time, then we want to order cocktails- need to asked the waiter to come around for three times… same thing happen for our food order. Bit disappointing on service side. On food: well, we couldn’t fault anything on the taste of the food except the portion at the given price. The peking duck is authentic and tasty, however I doubt the meat is fully ‘removed’ from the whole duck shown in front of us we felt we still have a lot of meat on it but the chef took it back. If you would increase the portion size it might be a little comfort to pay at that price. Ambience: good overall. Comfortable seat
Best Peking duck and dim sum place in London, not one of. Need to reserve the duck one day in advance if you don’t want to try your luck on the day. The way they serve the different parts of the duck differently were divine, it’s a must try. Dim sum is only available at lunch time
Such a great experience. Lychee juice, soft shell crab from the appetizer menu and steamed charcoal bun with custard is a must!! The waiter informed as that all meat are Halal حلال but even though, better to ask whenever you’re there.
I really enjoyed the dim sum here. In fact some of the flavours were the best I’ve tried in London. The Shanghai soup dumplings and the Baked Snow Mountain Bun with Ibérico Char Siu Pork were simply delicious. I would definitely return
Very tasty Chinese food and some dishes were very well done but others were just okay such as the lobster definitely not worth it!. However, it is very overpriced for the overall package you get. The service does not help justify the high prices at all - it did not make you feel warm or welcome. A few steps down from its restaurant in Shanghai. Unfortunate really. Probably won’t go back any time soon.
As a Beijinger, I have to say this is the BEST Peking duck Beijing Style Roasted Duck in London. I recommend you to ask chef to cook the duck longer if you prefer to have an extra crispy and crunchy duck. The Wok-Fried Ho Fun with Angus Beef delicious as well. Even the cocktails ! We had a really nice experience last night. And the service was fantastic.
Dim sum and Peking duck someone called Cantonese duck were great. Services was attentive and helpful. Price was not cheap though.
