We went here for dinner I was so surprised at how busy it was in here with people queuing to get a table I was a little apprehensive of going in, not my regular restaurant type to eat at. The food was lovely, just perfect. The spices were just right. The mix grill was just perfect. I was surprised to find they layered the mix grill over rice, which was even better overall. Great food, definitely worth a visit, will recommend to friends and family.
Food was pretty good in the road in comparison to others but the portion of the meals are quite reduced which can be understood by the high increased in the prices but still that can be a good portion in that price, but highly recommended if you are in alum rock. The taste of the chapli kebab is a bit of change. Before it was pretty good as i have been visiting them for almost 5 years but still the food was good and recommended
Had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. The food was hot and tasty, the chicken was falling off the bone and succulent How I like it and the Naan was served in a traditional Peshwari way, stretched over a stretcher. Overall, excellent and authentic Pakistani food, exactly how my grandmother would make it.
Had a very authentic experience tonight at this place. I know be use I am from that area. The Chappal kebab better known as Chapli kebab are the closest to the real deal that we have. The kabuli pulao and the lamb karahi were up to mark and of good portion size. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a good authentic culinary experience.
The cashier employee’s behavior was not acceptable at all. I asked him about more than one dish in the menu, and he answered with a lack of clarity. I told him that it was the first time we visited the restaurant and also ordered meals. When I paid, I discovered that the quantity was greater than required and the restaurant prices are very exaggerated for the quality.
Kabuli pulao & lamb karahi has always been my favourite...meat was so tender and soft.. it was absolutely Amazing... tasty... yummy... delicious... quite reasonable and huge serving size, worth every penny!! I would rate the food 10/10
This is by far one of the best Chapli kebab and Peshawari Karahi restaurant in the UK. They have maintained their quality and the ambiance is also good. Highly recommended.
Been here few times food is ok this time we have very bad service hence the 2 stars. Food was good. But we had to chase up for every part of the meal. Please improve on the service. Also one waiter was telling the other to come to a table rather than taking initiative and looked like he had been forced to be on the shift. On the good side their chappal kebab was good on the night but again chasing for the meal.
The food is great. I would highly recommend their lamb Karhai and Chapali Kebab. The prices are great and you can have a filling meal in under £10 per person. The family naan is good for 3-4 people. Their services was nice, however in rush hours during the night they seem understaffed and service is much slower. That wasn’t the case during lunch time. Friendly staff.
Visited on a Saturday afternoon was very busy but service was reasonably quick for our take out meal. We was recommended the dum pukth by the friendly member of staff , which we had along with the chana, chapli kebabs and naan For me the dum pukth was the star of the show Which is like a stew with soft meat along with the naan, it was delicious. This dish is only available on weekends . The chapli kebabs were also great Look forward to visiting again next time to get the charsi Karahi. 2nd visited with family on a Saturday evening was very busy, hectic and stressful trying to get a table very unorganised staff not managing very well no orderly que . Upon ordering the food took long to arrive We had the Chapli kebab Kabali pulau And lamb charsi karahi All the food was delicious.
