I stumbled upon this gem via a fellow South African pal and totally enjoyed my time there. She introduced me to plantain and a very flavourful rice dish (Name?). I also had a sweet doughnut-type dessert which reminded me of something similar from the Cape called 'Koeksisters'! Very tasty.
I am also pleased that the owner put our favourite SA artist's CD on high volume  (Freshly Ground) and allowed us to sing and dance around the open floor space freely. We felt very much at home and I would liken this experience as similar to visiting in your grandma's kitchen back home. Keep it up guys, well done! I will be back soon.

Simply the best. Taste, large portions and unbelievable value for money bill at the end of your meal. I call it "ile" - a yoruba word that means home.

We ate here after walking past it a few times.  Food was really good value and the owner - Olu - was a star.  He was really helpful in explaning what some of the more unusal items on te menu were.  Would definately recommend.
