The first and best gay bar / club in Edinburgh. On Tuesday nights the 'Lab space' downstairs hosts the Rabbit hole, a drag extravaganza, for a mere £2 on the door. Drinks are reasonable, the music is great and there's a taxi rank just outside for you to stumble over to. What else do you need?

Be ready to get kicked out for nothing if you are visiting this club. The staff in the gate is apparently very intolerant toward the fact that people simply behave differently, including moving in different ways or may be the desire to have a breath of fresh air. I don't know what exactly the guard on the front door didn't like today (half an hour ago) when I walked out of the club to have a breath. I had one shot of tequila in a club and they diagnosed me as too drunk and didn't let in when I just walked out completely sober outside of the club for a minute. Around me was bunch of locals being extremely drunk and they were let in(I am not local, so may be the reason was also the different cultural habits, "the way I walk" as they said). When I explained that I am fine, the staff was extremely rude, asking me to get out and have a drink or some food and not bother them. Then they asked me to walk further form the entrance, as I was waiting for my friend to figure out that I am not coming for a long time and come out. By the way, as I said that my jacket is in they let me take it but didn't let me say to a friend that I am being kicked from a club. I believe it's completely unprofessional and I am writing it being completely sober on Friday night after I got kicked out from the club. I advise the club to change the politics on the entrance and get more attentive to cultural differences and the behaviour and some people actually might want to have some fresh air on the street and it doesn't mean they are drunk. For now, the night is spoiled, a huge sense of disappointment, a huge minus to the staff members. Please, work on that. For now, I don't recommend this club to anyone who wants to spend their night without he unexpected unpleasant interactions with the staff. Thank you.

Can't help but enjoy it after a hard day. Happy tunes, diverse patrons, friendly staff and reasonable prices. Perfect combo.

Nice vibe and good drinks. Only downside was that we tried to order an old fashioned and were told they didn't have the ingredients

My boyfriend and I were there last Saturday and we had so much fun. Very nice club with a good atmosphere and relaxed crowd. Would definitely recommend it to any LGBT person looking for a nice club!
