Best hair cut I have had in years. Great chat. I was a lunchtime walk in and delighted they made time for me. Highly recommended.
Poor service; horrible haircut. Horrendous. Just to add on more details, just so people can have a full picture of what had happened. I walked into the store to ask for a haircut, which to avoid confusion I recon will be the easiest way to just show a picture of my previous hairstyle, that bit is all correct. However, I was assigned to a clearly inexperienced barber, who doesn’t seem to know what he was doing, and constantly coughing to my face, without even trying to cover or move away, while doing the haircut. Which already made I feel uncomfortable enough, and during the haircut not only did he had zero communication with me on how is it going, he kept stop the clipper and chat to his colleagues. When I already being polite enough to state: “could you please hurry up, as I’m in a hurry”-that was already 30mins into the haircut, not 5 mins, and he is not even halfway through, as he spent majority of the past half an hour chatting to his colleagues. In which he responded: “I’m nearly done anyway.” Which I looked at the mirror, it’s basically not even close to the length I asked for, and the skin fade was just blended terribly, you can see the line. So I responded: “okay, then. It’s perfect thanks” as I don’t want to further wasted my time and energy in it, and rather just go and find some other barber. I refuse the shampoo, as it wasn’t even free, they intended to charged me 3£ for a hair wash anyway. I believe I was by no means being a horrible customer, I didn’t even want to create the fuss, if the barber thinks he is being quick and efficient enough, and a badly half-done job is a “done work” to him, then there was nothing much I could argue on the point, so I paid and left and thanks him, with all the grace. However, as a customer, I believe it is my basic right to express and share my honest, first hand experience about the place. I didn’t want to “complain”, was just stating the fact of how I felt, it’s a bad place with bad service. And they can’t even take a genuine feedback from the customer to do improvements, but rather counterattack back on their customers, I think that says it all.
Very unwelcoming experience. Bad haircut, the person cutting my hair didn't seem to have experience and for sure wasn't following my directions. Not to mention, she said "I have another customer waiting" as if time management of the barber shop is my responsibility. I was on time. The hair is not even symmetrical. Not coming back..
I asked for a low skin fade but the fade was blended poorly, my sides and back were unaligned and have a bowl cut round the back of my head. I had to also pay £19.50 which was not a fair price for the treatment I was given.Service: Fade cut
Great wee barbers. Such lovely friendly customer service. The team are open, friendly and keen to offer a top notch service. Offered refreshments while waiting on family members. Highly recommended!!Service: Hair shape up
Been to this barbers a handful of times. Shop is well presented and the staff are very friendly, but unfortunately on two occasions now I’ve left here with a very poor haircut. On one occasion in particular, it was difficult to tell when I was in the shop, but when I got home my partner pointed out that the back of my head had hardly been touched and had to finish it off with scissors. I understand things can be lost in translation but there were tufts of hair a good inch longer than the rest of my cut. Disappointing as I enjoyed the conversation with the gentleman cutting my hair and the price was very reasonable for the city centre. I would not recommend that people avoid this place as it’s overall a very pleasant experience but I would maybe double-check in the mirror before leaving the shop.
I really enjoyed getting my hair cut by James. He was really professional and made my hair look wonderful. I didn’t feel pressured to talk to much like I have felt at hairdressers. The cost was also very good for the service I got. I absolutely cannot recommend James enough :-
Made an appointment to have my haircut and came in 5 minutes late. The receptionist acknowledged my booking and told me to wait at the seating area. After waiting for another 10 minutes, then I was suddenly told that my appointment was cancelled because I came in late and I had to rebook another session. I reluctantly agreed but got my haircut for a walk-in at another barber shop on the same day. I am never coming back here again as a first time visitor. The shop left a bad impression on me for its rigidness and lack of coordination between the reception & the hairdressers.
Nice saloon shop. Rates are very reasonable and the staff is too helpful. They would keep asking about the cut during cutting and if you need any changes. Quite lovely music and good enough space in the salon for sitting . Neat and clean shop with friendly staff. My favorite for all time in Glasgow.
Had a junior barber cut my hair, and yeah it sure takes some time. But in the end, his work is impressive and I like it.
