Great venue for sport. They have a massive screen and a great sport drinks menu. Who knew you could get a "2 pinter"? The staff are so genuine and even offered table service during the match so we didn't have to get up to order more drinks!Service: 5/5
Service was great - staff were friendly and while it was busy you didn’t have to wait too long for a drink. Monika was behind the bar at the time and was an absolute angel. She was perfectly happy accepting Scottish money - some places don’t!Food: 5/5
At over £3 for a soft drink I would call this more Tally Go as in leave than Tally Ho! But Mummy Debra was in one of her blast from the past moods and Hadn't set foot in this pub for around 30 years. The pub has a few seating areas but the upstairs was roped off. It was thankfully quiet on this occasion but one imagines it would be full when the sports are televised. The staff was welcoming of a talking teddy bear and a crazy woman wandering around photographing it. There is an outdoor seating area but I imagine, being sandwiched between the north and southbound roads, that it would be a touch on the loud and polluted side for Mummy! Looking at the menus and review photos it's not a gastropub affair but just standard pub grub. It's dog friendly with dog biscuits.
A place to watch sport, eat and drink with friends. The service is superb, the place has plenty of screens to enjoy any sport without distraction. The food is exquisite, the Cheese Bruschetta is glorious, super creamy and exquisite. And the prices are super good for eating and drinking. A place to come back infinite times
Rudest bar tender ever. When cleaning the table, she wiped all the ash on my boyfriends lap, then messed up our order by not telling the kitchen to remove the cheese from my boyfriends burger whose lactose intolerant. When we asked for it to be remade she scoffed loudly and walked away, 30 seconds later she brought it back and we saw the cheese was scrapped off the chicken - the kitchen didn’t remake it and expected a cold burger with cheese still on it to be okay to give even though it’s an allergen. We asked the waitress to speak to the manager and she never even told her what was going on, so we had to go up to the bar after waiting 10 minutes to request to speak to the manager who sorted out our requests. It’s sad because I really do enjoy coming here but the service is so bad recently I can’t deal with it anymore. New staff is needed 100%.
We went in family with Jason as our guide. We had a tremendous great time. The time he took to explain and show London will be unforgettable. Thx, Jason! Luc
Friendly staff, good service, value for money....and my televisual football heaven. One star knocked off the atmosphere section, as the tables aren't cleaned as quickly as they really should be and they need to bring back the All Day Breakfast....please Still a 5 star place for me, as its a local landmark for the less pretentious North Finchley folk to get their gills wet in
It's clean but a wee bit quite when I went there for lunch with an old colleague of mine. We had fish & chips and scampi. Both served hot and delicious. I had G&T, 2 for 1 cocktail and my ex-colleague had her house white. It is totally vfm and would definitely go back for more. I think the place has been cleaned as the tables, chairs and even the floor is 'not sticky'. So all you locals, do go there for your meals and drinks and judge for yourself as to vfm, quality of food and the staff. I was there in 21.12.2022 at around 12:45 pm. Thank you staff for your service.
Very good atmosphere. Amazing food, especially the crispy battermilk pork belly and chicken tikka. Thank you Heidi!! All the bar staff who served us today were so welcoming and helpful. Thank you Angel, Charlotte and Amy.
Since coming in Tash has done an amazing job by hiring staff that are young, friendly and eager to look after customers. Great place to watch the football.Food: 5/5
