IS THIS A FRONT FOR SOMETHING ELSE !! I was always intrigued by this place, as I passed by car as nothing seem to be happening in the restaurant, but just thought it was because I was passing too early....at long last I thought I had better give it a try. I rang my order in and was told to park in the car park at the back, which I found run down with weeds galore....I entered the back door to find a seedy back bar room with an Eastern European serving behind the bar and a handful of workmen as customers.....when I asked if the restaurant was through to the front, she said your food is here and the front is closed. THE FOOD was expensive and after unpacking at home, bore no resemblance to the either the dishes I had ordered, or any form of curry known to man.....avoid like the plague !!! UPDATE - Further deterioration of the building makes me feel it has now totally closed down.....HOPEFULLY !!

While I sympathise with the last reviewer (I went there once and we dined alone - last time I went the kitchen was closed), you should really should have stuck it out becuase the food is very good indeed. The chicken nairobi is what a proper curry should be, not made from some bog standard base gravy and with discernible flavourings. breads were yum too. It won't win any awards for looks or buzz (i must have driven past it a million times until an indian work colleague recommended it - so its a bit of a secret to many) but if its good food you are after then dont drive past it

I do not think they are entitled to one star went in restaurant this evening the restaurant was completely empty nobody to welcome waited for 10mins nobody came to attend to us so we were group of four left rang them from outside to know if they were open or not the person who picked up the phone said restaurant was open but we're very quite any way we did not stay we left and went to different restaurant which was great

Fantastic food. Good atmosphere nice staff. I would say the indian food in north London.
