We ordered £40 worth of food and could not have been looking forward to it anymore than we were. IT WAS ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. From the starters to the main to the sides chips, onion chutney, naan bread etc, the chips were stale, the onions in the onion chutney looked stale, we didn't even bother trying it and the naan bread smelt doughy and you could see wasn't cooked properly, ...there was not one single item out of the 15 items we ordered that tasted nice or felt edible. As soon as I took the first bite of the chicken tikka starter my first thought was food poisoning as it tasted stale. And so it carried on with everything we tasted. Actually I tell a lie, there was one thing that was edible and that was the poppadoms and that'll be because they're bought in not made in the so called takeaway that is THE TAJ MAHAL. Oh and the cans of drink were fine but that's a no brainer! The reviews on Just Eat and Hungry House are deceiving. I wish I'd Googled the reviews before I ordered from THE TAJ MAHAL as the Google reviews tell the true story. Do not order from here...EVER.
I've used your take away for several years. My favorite dish of yours 'Chicken Tikka Masala' was simplying amazing.... until recently. On return from my honeymoon i decided to order one and was disappointed with the taste tasted burnt so i thought it was a one off. Yesterday i repeated the same order and it was the same bland curry that i'd had before so you must have either: 1 changed the recipe or 2 your chef Please please please please bring it/them back, the original chicken tikka masala was 1000% nicer than this - i would have traveled across the country to get that curry.
Just spent £30 id rather of ripped the money up then spend it on bland tasteless starter the food was very tough and cold we waited a long time for a rubbish meal never again will we waste money we thought it would be a nice meal checked the rating and it was 4/5 looking at the inside we joked and said we would end up I'll spoke to the manager before we wrote the review to see if he would offer a part refund all I received was abuse on the phone and as I was making the complaint I was told to wait while he took other phone orders never ever again will we waste our money in a dive like this!! Do not waste your money on VILE COLD TASTELESS DISCUSTING RANK FOOD!! If I could I wouldn't even rate it -0 star
Tried for the first time. Starter meat was burnt and tough, portions were small, meal was bland. Very disappointing. I will not be going back.
Not nice Tandoori prawn balti Lots of salt . And lots of. Onions very bland
Would rather wipe my arse with the £20 I spent here, ill advised and gave serious Delhi belly.
Used to be very good. Food seems to have taken a turn for the worst.
