Great short practice courses, longer rides and family rides. Car park pay & display. Payable by card. Prices start at £3 for 2 hours. Disabled parking have to pay as well. Bike wash available at £1 coin for 2 minutes. Shop on site and cafe. Also outdoor coffee station. Plenty of outdoor seating. Some under cover. Toilets were clean and well maintained. Bike hire available but must be booked the day before online. Emergency tool station available and bike workshop on site.
Lovely scenery, very accessible and reasonably priced car parks and the mtb trails are fantastic. The staff in the bike shop and cafe are very friendly. The food is great and well priced.
My favourite bike park yet. Free entry, the best trail choice, and an awesome atmosphere on trail. Good bike shop, all the essentials, provision of good food. The trails range from XC to DH. If you are contemplating it, go for it. Make a day out of it, having fun has never been easier.
A quick wheelie warm up in the car park before hitting the pump track, technical area and then time on the tracks. As you can tell from that, there is something for everyone and all very professionally done. Can get very busy due to it being so good, so an evening ride is sometimes a better bet if you want to take things very leisurely.
Really great place to ride! There is something for everyone and you can make it as challenging as you like. Geared up for family's and kids too with a more gentle trail. The jump park was really cool and super busy. Definitely one of the best free places you can go and it's kept really well the owners clearly care and understand trails. Cafe good too, the loaded fries were on point after a long ride
Loved the MTB trails. Could be better sign posted to be honest but still a five star location. I will be returning as soon as possible! Thanks!
Amazing trails for all riders. Cannop Cycle Centre is the place we've been looking forward to going to for a long time. The forest itself is well looked after by the trail crew. There is some recent refurbishment work completed to several sections of the trails which makes the riding experience even more enjoyable. At the bottom of the hill, there is small food establishment serving light lunches and takeaways.
Fantastic place for all abilities on a mountain bike. In the wet the black runs are really challenging with the roots like a network of sniper ready to take your wheels away. In the dry it's like a different place. The blue runs single dot runs are brilliant from the climbing trail to the Countdown and Launchpad flow , jump, speed trails they are so well maintained its a pleasure to ride. And its free except for parking. All the trails are built and maintained by volunteers, legends!!!
Well worth the 200 mile round trip to go and enjoy a lovely bit of British countryside on my mtb. Going to keep me smiling for weeks.
Absolutely incredible mountain bike trails!Cafe, toilets and plenty of benches for a picnic free water bottle refill too! There is a self-fix biking station with free tools to borrow and pump for bikes. There is usually a mechanic on hand to help with repairs for very good prices. Bike hire comes with helmets remember to bring x2 proof's of address. Parking is pretty cheap. Dogs welcome but do bear in mind the routes are quite lengthy. The family trail is about 45mins long and very nice flat route. There are smaller side sections of blue to test out your skills. There are also dedicated skills loops, two of them to be exact, one slight harder than the other. Make sure you are comfortable doing them before trying out the blue verderers trail- it is honestly the highlight route for Cannop Ponds. Red trail is amazing too, with tricky root sections and great downhills. What makes this place really special is the addition of jump lanes, drop lanes, such as countdown which are decided sections with graded orange dots from 1 to 3. These are absolutely incredible. The work taken to maintain this is jaw-dropping. It is an absolute credit to this center. AMAZING.
