Lovely reception staff. My son was so poorly, and in and out of a&e, got appointment to see a gp within the next two days, by that time my daughter got ill too. When arrived for my sons appointment and asked when possibly I could book my daughter in, they got me an appointment for the same day. Brilliant.
Managed to get an on the day appointment with no issues. Receptionist very helpful and all experience so far with Drs has been great!
Last week ordered repeat prescription by email, spoke to reception and was told it was going across to the pharmacy today tried to phone reception was number 2 in line phone then went onto engaged tone then the phone was hung up on me diabolical mess will be reporting to certain bodies
The phone system at this GP’s has always been useless but now they’ve outdone themselves. So this morning I called dead on 8.30am, got thru, pressed 1 to speak to reception but was then told they have a queuing system tell us about it! and the queue was full, and if it was an emergency to call 999! No wonder the emergency services can’t cope. Used to be able to keep redialling until got thru and then wait in queue but new system puts you thru then tells you they’re full! Absolutely USELESS! Change the system back!! Would complain to the practice manager but she’s never available! Wish we had some decent GP’s in this area but, sadly, we don’t. What a joke this practice is!

This surgery is going from bad to worst. I ordered prescription 10 days ago upto now it has been ordered 3 times through the chemist Still no prescription. I decided to ring thenn today to see what is happening rang 3 times and held on 5mints passed and then the line goes dead. I'm a diabetic and my tablets run out tomorrow,and I will not have any. This is disgusting why to treat patients. It a shame because the doctor are all nice.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Long wait times for appointments suffered for over 2 years consistently being told I'm anxious suffering chronic pain and sickness every single day can cause anxiety, especially if you had experienced excellent health your whole life until it was robbed from you suddenly and doctors here will not help you. Finally was diagnosed after 18 months and refused medication to treat me. Begged for 6 months more for help but was told they knew nothing about the medication I require and to talk to other useless doctors there or people I'd previously been referred to who all had no idea. Eventually, I was told not to go back to them for any of my symptoms. I changed doctor recently and my new practice is wonderful!!!! Had no idea after my struggle that doctors and nurses were so sympathetic. They literally said 'you will be pleased to know, we don't mess with people's lives here'. Excellent statement as dealing with this terrible practice has seriously messed with and robbed me of a decent quality of life. I now have a consultation for much needed medication and am being treated as urgent. Avoid this practice at all costs.
If I could give 0 star review I would. This is the WORST SURGERY EVER. I agree with all the bad reviews because it is all TRUE . Make an appointment with a doctor and no one calls you back. No one follows up and no one CARES. I have been trying to get important medication for over a week. The receptionist is too busy trying to get you off the phone to help you. FACTS. Going to lodge official complaint and find a surgery that CARES. Let's see if anyone does anything about this review. I won't hold my breath!
If I could give zero stars I would. I am lodging an official complaint against this surgery. They have caused me countless hours of wasted time and money due to incorrect prescriptions, refusal to prescribe repeat medication even though the specialist I saw specifically wrote them a letter to do so. This has caused me huge amounts of emotional distress, something the receptions do not care about at all! Went to see the GP about a mole on my arm I was concerned about...she barely even looked me in the face let alone at my arm and told me it was nothing. Glad I persisted and asked her to record on my notes that she refused to refer me initially, obviously she didn't want to write that so eventually she referred me to a specialist. The majority of the reception staff are rude and impatient, I would strongly suggest avoiding them and booking appointments online if you can! Unfortunately the incompetence not only sits in reception but with the GPs too, their inability to prescribe repeat medication resulted in me having to go to the hospital. Once time the GP even tried to prescribe me medication I was allergic too...clearly stated in my notes as I've had the allergy since childhood. Such a shame that this surgery has gone downhill, it used to be great. Now it's just a dismal, horrible place to go. In some cases I would rather go without or be in pain than go to the doctors, that's how terrible it really is.
One fabulous receptionist here, unfortunately she isn't on duty all of the time. I do not often need the doctors, but on the last 3 occasions I've needed an appointment I've had an incredibly rude an condescending receptionist who has been so obstructive in my receipt of care, that I haven't been able to make an appointment. This surgery is honestly the best example of how bad NHS surgeries can be. I am lodging an official complaint. I don't normally bag the NHS, I'm an NHS employee and wholeheartedly believe in it, but this surgery is terrible. Avoid if you can.
