I Phoned up this morning for a telephone conversation and the receptionist was very helpful and friendly. She booked me in And said the doctor would call me after 9. Dr Tam phoned at 9:20. Ans was very helpful and understanding and sent my prescription over to My nominated, Pharmacy. Just wanted to say a massive thank you for sorted my prescription out
I spoke to Sarah at the Robert Frew this morning who was extremely helpful in sorting out my husbands prescription. Thank you so much, in these difficult times with the NHS and all the negative feedback, it's nice to see that the surgery is helpful, friendly and efficient!
Nobody ever answers the phone, can be put on hold for up to 4-6 hours at a time and constantly get cut off and have to call again. Alternatively they offer an automated system which is great if it actually worked.. numerous times I’ve attempted to book in on it only to be told nothing is available for my requirements? Which is literally a standard appointment with any Dr.nWhy are we paying national insurance for the NHS when this is the service we get? There is no service it doesn’t exist.nRobert Frew is a scam.
I’m sorry to say this is not a positive review. I was a doctors receptionist myself years ago so understand completely their difficulties. However, a lack of understanding, sympathy & compassion was received this morning, more like rudeness. 111 had been rung & advised clinical intervention. Was constantly told ‘no appointments, I’ve told you’!! Eventually after seeing 111report agreed, begrudgingly, to arrange a pharmacist to ring. Totally unacceptable behaviour, unnecessary & could have been dealt with calmly, with some care & kindness. Poor show Robert Frew
I am sorry to rate it this low but,nI went yesterday to se the doctor because I was in pain and having diarrhoea , he jut pressed a bit my tummy and told me that is just a virus and I should just keep taking the diarrhoea relief.I wonder how did he know is just a virus only by pressing on my tummy.nAnyway , same day in the evening I ended up to the emergency with lots of abdominal and back pain, after hours of waiting for the blood and urine result I finally got answers , they found an intestinal bacteria and that I am dehydrated so they gave me antibiotics and painkillers.nIt is terrible
