Good food very reasonable, good service

My daughter had the unfortunate experience of visiting this place on Wednesday 28th March and was treated as a second class citizen due to the fact she is a vulnerable young adult she was treated appallingly by a woman named Tracey. They asked for a light lunch or even just a smaller portion in which they were willing to pay full price for just not a full sized portion .. this request was looked apon with disdain and when the food actually arrived she pulled the plates away from them stating that they weren’t getting that amount for less money and then proceeded to return the meal on side plates. All the time she was doing this she was also being what sounded to us as very abusive to some poor sole at the other end of her mobile phone. Everyone else was extremely nice and the food was fine but after this visit I would never recommend this place to anyone or will I ever be back it’s the worst experience of eating out I’ve ever had .... totaly shocking and definitely not family friendly as they state on there web page or disabled friendly ...

Absolutely shocked to read the appalling report from Environmental Health about the Swan in local Troon newspaper! Even more disturbing was that an initial inspection months ago had highlighted and warned about serious and dangerous foodhandling procedures and food preparation in the kitchen! And apparently these warnings were just disregarded! - so when Environmental Health returned there had been no improvement! Am so so angry as my 88 year old Mum and her friends have dined there nearly every Saturday for years! And putting their health at risk by their shoddy practices is unacceptable.
