A remarkable building with a stunning wood structure roof high above the collection of historic farm vehicles - look out for the Oxfordshire Hoop Raved wagon; an aesthetically attractive piece of crafted vehicle.
The museum looked interesting enough but the Ronny Loxton Art Exhibition was fantastic. Landscapes, wildlife and African animals beautifully captured on canvas, hessian and even on feathers. Plenty of Ronny Loxton designs on accessories too. I particularly liked the trays, cards and handmade soaps. It also looked like tea and cake was available at a beautifully rustic cafe.
Very interesting to learn the history of the local area including findings from archaeological digs as well as the agricultural machines in the barn. Kathy & Colin are great hosts and make the history interesting.
Lovely place, lots of interesting artefacts and local history...
Lovely listed barn with great setting in the rolling hills. A real treat
