Friendliest SuperValu in Ireland. The staff here are brilliant. They are great for small talk and a smile. I love the freah cake section as you walk in the door. However when it comes to the checkouts it's awful. SuperValu has a lot of competition in Ashbourne but one of strengths of somewhere like SuperValu should be getting in the convenience shopper. It fails miserably here. Fruit and veg is weighted in the Fruit and Veg section and there is no self service check outs what so ever. It's a no brainer for who ever own this SuperValu to get in the extra business. They should look to Dunsaughlin or Trim as a model although keep the great selection of cakes.
