The food was nice. Very tasty starters and mains. The dessert brownie and tiramisu weren't as nice but still fine. The service got progressively poorer as our evening went on. Waited over 20 mins for a staff member to come close enough to ask for the bill and ended up calling halfway across the restaurant to get someone's attention in the end. We then waited another 15 mins for the bill to arrive. All in all, I wouldn't go out of my way to come here again.

Beautiful food, helpful staff, great beer. Ideal for a quick meal or a sit down for a long time. Relaxing atmosphere and very clean restaurant. The staff are more than obliging.
Food: What “piqued” my interest in La Bucca was its rather incongruous claim to serve “the best wings in Ireland.” Hubristic overstatement or objective account of reality? Methinks it’s the latter. Delicately fried, then slathered in a piquante piri-piri sauce, these wings will lodge themselves into your memory… and maybe even your heart. Drinks: Wide selection of beverages and tipples, including cocktails and “bubbles.” The staff are also unafraid to “keep them coming,” if you know what I mean. Service: Did you ever meet someone who was so nice that you actually got jealous? Like you resented them for being so well-balanced? That’s every staff member here. Decor: Sleek but understated. Notes of Wall Street, with muted greys and black leather. They also have one of those big windows into the kitchen so you can watch the chefs cook. Soundtrack: Pleasingly eclectic selection that pushes the boundaries without becoming incongruous. We heard Linkin Park twice during our séjourne, and at one point I nearly choked on some pork belly because “Since You’ve Been Gone” by Kelly Clarkson came on. Facilities: No idea. Overall: if you’re looking for an exemplary dining experience in Ashbourne, you should “bucca” table here!
Went for a family dinner the service was amazing. Friendly staff everything was perfect. Highly recommend.
Food was ok. Though there were glitches. Lardons in chicken carbonara were straight from the box. And tortelloni lacked salt.Food: 4/5

Fantastic attentive staff. Vegan friendly, very accommodating. I put in a special order for a Hawaiian burger with vegan patties and the waitor even thought to offer me vegan cheddar with my order. Fantastic food that won't disappoint. Very reasonable prices for the quality and portion sizes. Good selection of cocktails and deserts. Huge range on the menu to suit all different tastes. Delicious fresh ingredients.
If I had photocopied the Pizza the print out would have been thicker! Burger was good though and the staff are very pleasant, although clearly understaffed so you will be waiting a while during busy periods.Food: 3/5
