Been going to the salon for decades. No more! I'm done with this salon. It's gone downhill since Emily left and now they have this strange booking system. Two haircuts ago it was cut badly. We measured the length either side of the face with a ruler and the measurements were nearly one inch different. The next time was OKish. But today I booked early and was second in the queue and told to get there at 9.55 am. The hairdresser was busy and said she would text me. I did all the possible things that Edgware has to offer and still no text. So frustrating on a precious day off. I went back over one hour later as I tried to check again online and this seemed to be about right. I was planning to wait there a few minutes. To my relief she was sat at reception and looking out not doing anything so I thought my appointment had finally arrived. Well! She was the opposite of welcoming. I asked if I could sit, she showed me a chair across the room in quite an offend manner. I asked how much longer. She told me about an hour. I am normally very polite and tolerant. But on this occasion I just stood there and went through all this in my mind, and something inside just flipped. I told her that I wanted to cancel, turned and walked away. I went to "Pink" in Mill Hill. The contrast in customer service was remarkable. But back to Supercuts Edgware. I have also witnessed ageism. Months ago I was told that the new queuing system meant I had to scan a barcode without any attempt to enquire if I was able. Whilst navigating this system on my own, another lady came and she appeared to be around eighty. She was told to take a seat. No need to scan a flaming barcode for her. Presumably being a few years younger means you get a bad attitude and a worse service. I rarely give bad reviews but this salon deserves one. I do not intend to go back.

I visited Supercuts to have a wash and blow dry a week ago. Rhona I hope this spelling is correct! did the necessary- an excellent job. I had lots of positive comments on my hair as a result. I returned yesterday fir the same treatment with the same person - I’m a very satisfied customer.
The wait yesterday was way too long. Over 4 hours and parking then cost me £12. Wash and blow dry excellent. Perhaps the business requires 2 hairdressers.Service: Hairstyling
Went to get a cut at 16:15 when on the website says they close at 17:30, the girl working told me she wasn't doing more cuts after she was finished with a gentleman which looked like she was almost done, I literally only needed 2 inches off hair, no wash no dry, I will take my money somewhere else
This was my first time at Supercuts and I have a very mixed review. Firstly I had to wait for 2 hours until I was seen to which of course wasn't great. Secondly I had my hair cut by Emily who was wonderful however she cut my hair about 2 inches shorter than I asked for. The price was great considering I got a wash, cut and dry. It's a shame that it wasn't excellent but I am hoping that I just turned up on an off day.Service: Hairstyling
Bimala is an excellent stylist. And so polite and helpful. But on my recent visit I felt rushed and am not happy with the results of my dry cut. This was not the fault of the stylist. But because she is always on her own with no other help, she’s having to deal with the phone, with walk in customers, and with the sit and wait people. On the day I went there were another 4 people waiting after me hence I can understand that she was trying to finish everyone and not keep people waiting. But due to this I felt rushed and am not happy with my cut. The poor girl needs another pair of hands. This is very poor service on Supercuts Headiffice. They need to make sure there are enough people in a salon. After all everyone is a paying customer. I am very disappointed this time. And I don’t hold bimala responsible as she was stretched.Service: Bang trim
Popped into supercuts yesterday, I've been growing my grey hair out and it looks a mess, the hairdresser cut it beautifully and I feel much better although I still have a way to go. The hairdresser was incredibly polite and friendly. I felt spoilt .Service: Hairstyling
Love my stylest Bimila, great hairdressers, great cut and blow dry. Listen to what the customer wants. Don't like new online styemed thou. Would rather book appointment, even if it meant paying a deposit. Or just walk in.
Joined the online queue at 3:30pm and was advised a 1hr wait. Arrived when I received a text that they were ready for me at 4:20 and was told that they close at 4:30. Google and the Supercuts website both say they close at 5:30pm on Saturdays at Edgeware. Incredibly livid at the lack of communication. Wasted journey.
