Story

Sun Valley Caravan Park is cradled alongside the banks of the River Clwyd. Situated in the heart of Rhuddlan with spectacular views of the Rhuddlan Castle which began it's build as far back as the 1200's leaving history at your feet. Sun Valley Caravan Park is open with an option of 8 or 10 and a half months season with low site fees. Fishing facilities, club, launderette and childrens play area.

Lovely caravan park in a great location. Close to the village of Rhuddlyn and castle. Overlooks the river and offers off road walks to the seaside town of Rhyl. Aldi is next door for cheap food shopping and the premier inn offers cut price dining. Kids eat free breakfast. Park offers spacious clean caravans, launderette and clubhouse with bar and regular entertainment. Supportive onsite staff. Children's playpark. Lots of things to do within a few minutes drive.
Started as a lovely clean friendly place. The last 12 months 2024-2025 has seen an unprecedented decline. No warden, security hit/miss, insufficient drains sewers backing up meaning caravans cannot use showers or flush toilets etc. Insufficient/adhoc manned reception. Renting parties not being furnished with necessary information, even to the extend of not knowing what van they are renting!nThere is a lovely sense of community with the owners of statics there, incredible people. However the poor management of the site has resulted in the need for many owners having to make the hard and awful financial decision to move away.

Great site, decent clubhouse, plenty of events on. Would be ideal to have a car if you are planning on venturing out. If staying on campus.
A very clean and tidy site. Good entertainment, and very friendly staff. Lots of things to do, and plenty of public transport to nearby places
